This is actually disgusting to read
@Depressed Cashier, I threw up a little in my mouth
If I ever heard somebody asked for a veterans discount because they are a social justice warrior I will beat the absolute sh t outta them
@sgc6610, That would make you a REAL social justice warrior.
@TheFunniestPics, don’t u ever call me that I’m not a social justice warrior I’m just your average everyday psychopath
@sgc6610, AEP does sound better than SJW
@TheFunniestPics, this guy gets it
@sgc6610, where do I sign up to help?
@BeccersEliz , wow look at that I got followers already u know what me and u r gonna start a movement and we’ll call it the beat down sjw movement
Please snap twice to make sure you get them all
@abelgray, less than just a small price for salvation
@Invalid User, it's more like a reward
@abelgray, actually just keep snapping like a street gang from an 80's musical.
Reading the Actual article this one is written about it not talking about SJWS at all but rather or not we should include the peace negotiators and non violent advocates In there which is a bit more interesting question to ask at least
@Thone09, the answer is still a hard no regardless.
@Thone09, he also says we should confer the term veteran on those who fight for a “more just society,” which is taken to mean quite literally social justice warrior. The professor who wrote this is severely.... I don’t even have a word to describe him, that’s how bad he is.
@Block1187, he may in other post but in the post this article is referencing he only says “Can we as a nation begin now to consider expanding the category of “veteran” to include the diplomats and the mediators, those working in conflict resolution, and activists dedicated to preventing wars and to bringing existing wars to diplomatic resolution once they have begun? What about the practitioners of non-violent resistance in the face of tyranny and oppression?” And “ It is also an act of patriotism to keep our brave troops out of harm’s way, and to work to create conditions and understanding that ultimately make war less likely.” Whether you agree or not is up to you but that’s what in the original post
@Block1187, The word you're looking for is "retarded." Because A: it's accurate and B: it'll piss off the SJWs
@Block1187, yes, yes, that’s nice and all, but are you sure those are their chosen pronouns?
@Thone09, it’s still inappropriate to include these non-violent actors with those who perpetuate violence on our behalf. Doing so who dilute the meaning of the sacrifice that our combatants make when they engage in such violence.
To make such a suggestion shows a marked ignorance of what has been done to create the peace we live in.
@Hot Coffee, Not exactly; there can still be a delineation. Let's be real: Terry Funk is a veteran. Maybe not of the military, but he's a veteran of the wrestling industry. It's unfair to say that sentence is false because he wasn't in the military. Similarly, the president is a member of our armed forces, and has a role in the war efforts just like diplomats and soldiers. However, if I wanted to separate the diplomats from the soldiers, I'd simply refer to the soldiers as combat veterans. This includes those who are actually veterans without ignoring the very real and very different sacrifice of those who faced the front lines.
@Jdrawer, semantics and a stawman argument.
@Hot Coffee, Semantics
Yes, yes it is. To be able to figure out which elements belong to which sets, we must be able to define our sets. That's why you introduce semantics.
You may wish to say my argument was weak, but if there's one thing it was, it's definitely not a strawman.
It was at this moment I realized Thanos had a point...
Warren Blumenfeld. We should all sign a petition to have his PHD revoked.
@I Are Lebo, you should read his article about how all males that buy firearms have small dicks, and any female who buys one does so out of penis envy.
@Not him again, 🙄🤦🏻♂️
@I Are Lebo, yeah it's pretty cringeworthy
In all my years of conquest, violence, slaughter, it was never personal. But I'll tell you now, what I'm about to do to your stubborn, annoying little planet... I'm gonna enjoy it. Very, very much
This link is for change.org petition for Disney to buy DC only 1k needed
@freakazoid, do you hate DC that much?
@Hot Coffee, i like DC that much that im willing to sign a petition so they can have some sort of organization so they dont keep butchering the comics
@freakazoid, I don’t think Disney is a very good choice, wait for the next round of the MCU to come out. If it’s good, I’ll sign, but I don’t expect it to be.
@Hot Coffee, i mean, we need a company that has the budget for it, who else out there has the budget to make at least a decent movie. Disney doesn't really mess up lots of movies, yes they have some. But compared to DC. Holy crap.
@freakazoid, fair point
Twitchy? Isn't that where you play video games?
