@DecapitatedLoon, Trump is also against illegal immigration, and many African Americans have become increasingly against illegal immigration over the last decade or so. A lot of federal grants that used to go to American American communities/schools/etc have been canceled and the funds redirected to Hispanic areas. Also there's the whole "black v brown" issue (Hispanic vs African American gang violence has become a huge thing). Trump is polling around 25-30% with African Americans...which is about 5-6 times as much as any Republican candidate in like 50+ years.
