This is why frozen was so good. I was our childhood.
I think this picture is trying to tell us something about these two movies. But what could it be?
@D0N RAM0N, seven
@Meanjoe, how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop?
@Meanjoe, Ash tried to catch them all, but caught our emotions instead
@Meanjoe, stay the fvck away from ice power people?
@Meanjoe, Pokemon Frozen Crystal confirmed!
How dare you compare the masterpiece that is pokemon to frozen
@PantherLily, plots may have parallel points but it wasn't as chocked full of macguffins as frozen was. Frozen was literally even after event happening for the sake of plot, meanwhile the only thing "questionable" in pokemon (aside from stuff in the series in general) was the science where they made mewtwo.
@PantherLily, I prefer Pokémon
Stop messing with my emotions stuckpixel!
So, I was trying to think of the moral of Pokémon: The Movie yesterday, and I concludes that it was "Fighting and forcing others to fight you just to prove you are the best is wrong! You should make peace and not fight!" Then I realized that is the ENTIRE PREMISE OF POKÉMON AND THAT ONE MOVIE TRIED TO DENY IT.
@Little Blue Cat, 0_0
Pokemon Movie trumps all
I watched the Pokemon movie recently and if you listen to Meowths speech is basically talking about racism and discrimination.
I didn't like Frozen.. Frozen is a lot like the barbie movies.
I love them both.
It's classic storytelling. One such version is the Hero's Journey:
Protagonist is content in their life
Calamity or tragedy occurs
Protagonist is forced to action to defend home/save loved one
Protagonist is reluctant to leave but is convinced by a wise mentor figure. Potentially extra tragedy occurs to make events (more) personal
Protagonist encounters first trial, overcomes
Protagonist experiences added trials and tribulations.
Protagonist encounters main antagonist for first time. Encounter ends poorly for protagonist.
Protagonist seeks help from an outside source and in doing so learns something about themself, making them a more complete person.
Protagonist encounters antagonist again, defeats then, albeit with difficulty.
Protagonist returns home a changed person.
I just described 90% of every book or movie ever made.
@I Are Lebo, that was longer than I thought it would be. Sorry. 😳
Pretty sure new two understood his powers. He just didn't give a fvck.
@Fumbles , mewtwo* damn you autocorrect
You don't say
Meh kyogre is still my favorite pokemon
That movie gave me goosebumps. Pokemon that is frozen can go fudge itself
Wait, I uploaded this?

Frozen ripped off pokemon? Go figure. Is ANYTHING original anymore?
