@Hoenheim, The N64 is definitely iconic, but as far as design goes? It's pretty bad. Last I checked, I didn't have three hands. That being said, it still looks flippin' sweet.

The original Saturn and Dreamcast controllers were awesome. The Xbox 360/Xbox One controllers are by far the most comfortable to hold...the PS are nice, but they need improvement in comfort especially after using the Xbox One controllers for so long then going to the PS4 controllers...I just wish there was an Xbox style controller for the ps4

@Your Left Testicle, original Saturn controller is the one on the left, then they later came out with the 2nd Saturn gamepad to better support 3D games. I still look at the original Japanese version Saturn controllers as having the best d-pads. One of my favorite controllers

@Croaks, they added motion control with the PS3. The PS4 controller has wider grips, a touch pad, different control sticks, and a wider design. They overhauled the controller quite a bit.

@Maverick182, I mean motion control as in the base controller itself. Not the failure that was ps move. Ex: tilt the controller in battlefield 4. You'll lean.

@Croaks, you could do the same thing with the PS3 controllers. Hence the name "sixaxis." They tacked it on the controllers after Nintendo announced the motion control for the Wii.

Not saying which console is best, but the xbox 360 controller has got to be the most comfortable fit to hold.

Playstation controllers aren't very good. Xbox has more comfort in long sessions.

I've been console gaming since nes I think Nintendo always had some cool controllers that usually were best for first party games, currently I like the ps3 controller but that's probably because it's what I'm used to.

I have never liked the PS controller. It feels wrong somehow. And as a person with big hands, I liked the duke Xbox controller. Xbox controllers are the best in both ergonomics and aesthetics IMO.
