Fvck. 7 was so much better though 😢
@The Pun Shielder, gimme that sweet sweet 95
Linux is the life for me!
@StupidPotatoes, I switch to Linux many moons ago
@Elmato, hey me too, high five!
@StupidPotatoes, What do you use? I use Manjaro with the Cinnamon Desktop
@Elmato, Ayy! would use arch if I had the time to set it up properly, rn Manjaro XFCE
@StupidPotatoes, I’m not nerd enough for this talk... boooooooo
@StupidPotatoes, see, I don't have patience to set up arch. So I choose from the MANY Manjaro options in the community versions. I used to use Ubuntu, but they were dropping 32bit Libraries, which steam needed. So Manjaro is where I went. I do everything on Manjaro, and thanks to Valve and Proton, 90% of my games work
@seeUpee, *shakes tiddies in general direction*
@Elmato, I used to run pure arch for the longest time, until I fvcked it bad lol. Can't go back to Debian, its just not the same after the AUR lol
@StupidPotatoes, pure Debian scares me, I actually understand Manjaro and Arch better than Debian and Ubuntu. Arch is beauty
@Elmato, right? I'm glad you agree! You're cool Elmato
@StupidPotatoes, you seem pretty cool yourself
@StupidPotatoes, I hate Linux. Mainly because it works so well. There’s nothing to fix!
@Pubmarine Shamwich, lololol. Take your upvote sir
@StupidPotatoes, woah tell that the the army lol ourlinux machine break regularly
@Anonymous3301, I too love pancakes, thanks!
It's a terrible day for rain 😢
I had to upgrade.... something I didn’t want to do. To my surprise it was easier than I thought it would be...
@seeUpee, join me over on the dark side with linux. We have cookies!
@seeUpee, I have 7 ultimate. They never sent me a notification to upgrade. I would lose so much functionality.
@tomansager, that is what I had too. They twisted my arm as I loved windows 7. You didn’t get one? I got one, January 14 windows would loose support. It actually popped up.
@seeUpee, that was my first notification and I got it on January 20. I just ignored it.
@tomansager, like what?
@CynicalSirr, administrative functions, hosting and logging in to servers. I have complete control over my PC. Many things no available for the "Home" version. Not to mention the management of the various parts of the windows operating system. I had "Home" on my son's PC, when I went in to fix a problem he had, using the method I would on mine, I couldn't. It just wasn't there.
@tomansager, ya, dont get home.
@StupidPotatoes, I can’t tell you how many times I have tried in the past...
@Sucaritas, there's definitely a bit of a learning curve first switching over and finding the right distro can be challenging when there's so many to choose from, and finding the right programs for what you need, but that's definitely part of the fun for me anyway. Then your end product is perfectly suited for you. I switched about 7 years ago now, and never looked back
@seeUpee, I have windows 7 still. Is it too late to upgrade for free? I have a good hp laptop. I was trying to hang in the windows 7 but I think it's time now.
@ latinomike, it’s not too late. Google how to do it for free. You get a link to windows. Is very easy, probably the least headache I ever had upgrading to an operating system. Honestly I even got used to windows 10 already. Thought I would have a hard time with it
@seeUpee, yeah because they want that sweet sweet data from Cortana
So long old friend
Anyone know how to upgrade windows 7 to 10 for free? I think it's time, I was trying to hang on to it as long as could
What is the picture from?
@Belteshazzar, Full Metal Alchemist: Brotherhood(?).
@Possible Paradox, Yep, but the actual quote is “It’s a terrible day for rain”
FREEdom dies quietly in the dark.
