@Metal head Toph, its called clone wars you can find the whole thing on YouTube. Its not cannon and even though its good people overhype it a ton and see it tinted with nostolgia googles. Its mostly just awesome visuals which is still awesome but it doesn't come close to the CGI clone wars not by a mile

@TR8R, it’s not actually that childproofed. The whole ‘no killing the enemies’ stops at the end of the second season. It’s actually somewhat plot integral (though subtle). In season 3 they blow up, fatally shoot, and throw stormtrooper off ledges to their deaths. As for the animation I found Clone Wars to be the one I had to get used to.

@I Are Lebo, I respect your opinion but I disagree. Even season three didn’t approach the brutality of Clone Wars. And I really can’t fathom how the better art style was the one you needed to get used to, but to each their own I suppose. Idk man, I’ve been meaning to give it a try again, I dropped it mid season three so I might just start from season 1.

@TR8R, that’s a bit of an unfair expectation. Clone Wars took place during a galactic war. All of Rebels is taking place in the point in time before any official rebellion had begun. You should compare the violence with the violence that the Jedi used during The Clone Wars show. Asohka never really killed people, she only cut up robots.

@I Are Lebo, maybe Ahsoka did but the other Jedi often were shown killing sentient beings. And what I saw of Maul didn’t impress near as much as when he and Savage were a team. Still I’ll give it another shot eventually, maybe watching without clone wars on my brain will allow me to enjoy it for what it is

@TR8R, that’s funny, that’s what your mom told me, too. No but seriously, I’d give it another try. Not every minute of it is great, and on the whole I don’t think I can say that it’s better than, say, the last two seasons of Clone Wars, I think it’s better than the first season of clone wars. It’s definitely worth watching.
This is the best Star Wars series hands down. Don't @ me.
