Insecure about their
Is this Satan's influence?
@SimonPetrikov, Damn, you caught me! There goes my elaborate plan which required those extremely devoted to walk into a completely random museum in their off time to even see what great lengths I went to to scare them of their faith!
@Good Guy Satan, And I would have gotten away with it too had it not been for you meddling kids and your pesky turtle!
Hey @Good Guy Satan,
As a faithful Christian... I say this. It's possible to believe in God and science. It's possible to believe God gave us science. Answers to questions. And evolution.
@Jensen1104, Mexico is 99.9% Catholic, but our schools are 100 secular. You go to school to learn about the real world. You go to church to practice your faith. The school curriculum is set up by the department of education, parents have no say on it.
“Indisputable...” bjtch where?
@Babuscha, yup show me the transition fossils
@addibruh, here https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_transitional_fossils
@griffinstorme, I'm talking about for humans. The evidence is weak at best
Here are some transitional skulls of our ancestors
@addibruh, Australopithecus afarensis Australopithecus africanus, Australopithecus garhi, Australopithecus boisei, Homo habilis, Homo rudolfensis, Homo ergaster, Homo erectus, Homo Heidelbergensis, Homo neanderthalensis, Homo sapiens.
Here’s an interactive timeline that includes the names of some shorter-lived species I didn’t name
And an article about what transition fossils mean in actual science
@addibruh, you seriously need to take a biology class. Or just watch Nova videos.
@mayora13, I need to take a biology class?? M8, I'm working on a master's degree I've taken a few biology classes
@addibruh, m8, then why are you acting like there's no proof? what's your master?
@mayora13, because the transition fossils that exist are hotly debated. For every claim that they come from our ancestor there's also a claim that it's fake or that it's from an ape or something. I'm not saying that it's not possible I'm just saying that it's far from a settled matter. It's aerospace engineering with a focus on human physiology and performance
@addibruh, aerospace engineer here. never taken a bio class in my life. engineering buys you djck all in the anthropological and evolutionary biological fields. defer to the people far smarter than yourself on the matter friend
@Hoban Washburne, I find that hard to believe especially as its a core class. Sure engineering is not bio related per se but my specialty has me at more medical conferences than engineering
@addibruh, not really. engineering courses are fairly ubiquitous at all large universities. so its 2 semesters physics mandated and elective social sciences. in fact theres little room in all but biomedical for anything but eng courses related to your major and mandatory social sciences and fine arts electives. the fact that you claim to have an extensive background in bio with an aerospace major doesnt pass the sniff test. dont make up credentials, its pretty seethrough to anyone with actual credentials
@Hoban Washburne, of you're being required to take fine arts courses than somebody is wasting your time. In the ECTS credits you need 300 credits to graduate with a masters, both physics courses only take up 12 of those credits. In addition to the core engineering classes, and the classes for your specialty - in this case physiology (aka human factors) there is still ~30 credits available for optional courses. This takes into account the required foreign language classes as well. But back to the real issue at hand, just because there is claims of transition fossils doesn't mean those claims are true. Human evolutionary Anthropology is synonymous with redacted journal entries, so much so that it is basically a pseudoscience
@addibruh, you’re just so wrong it’s kind of amazing
@griffinstorme, I don't even know what you're referring to
@addibruh, this aren't claims. There are very important traits that link the transition. Changes in the pelvis, and foot for walking upright. This traits are not share with other primates. I remember this vividly because of all the annoying essays I had to write for my biology class a couple of years ago. It is true that there are a couple of disputed ones, but that is because there is so little material to put together and the Chinese claiming the first modern humans were from China.
Whats wrong with unisex bathrooms?
@Braumz, they are full of women taking half an hour just to take a pee
Unisex? Pashaw I say! Don’t you Philistines know there are 67 sex’s now. Oh, I’m sorry,,,, genders.
Oh diddly roni this place is gonna corrupt my kids.
