@KennyKiller, lol yea I loved episode 14. But I thought that Alfheim online was almost unessessary. It was needed for some helpful background on Kirito, but I think the series would have been near perfect if they had finished at episode 14. Good series, probably in my top 5 even though romance isn't my cup of tea

I was late to even knowing what anime was but I've worked my way through Soul Eater, SAO, Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Attack on Titan, and now I'm about 50 episodes into Fairy Tail and I've got to say, I don't care which is best because they've all been amazing so far. Next on my list is either Naruto or One Piece

@SupaSean204, it does a pretty good job of balancing the action with jokes and the drama. I've only seen the first bunch of episodes but it does get weird when it strays from the manga, like the bounts in the latter seasons so I've only seen a few of those ones. Other than that it's great and I highly recommend it.

Having watched most of these, I can concur that Fairy Tail has indeed captivated me the most, although the others are extremely good as well. My least favorite would have to be Attack on Titan because of its rather thin plot that only seems to focus on killing titans. But that is just my opinion, think what you like.

@Lord Emostabe, I agree AND disagree with your opinion on AoT. It does have a rather thin plot compared to other anime's out there (FMA:B, Death Note, Stiens;Gate). However I feel the plot is somewhat deep, even though it isn't VERY thought provoking. To be honest, after watching other anime's (like stiens;gate and fmab) once I caught up with the manga of AoT, I kinda questioned myself as to why i loved it so much. The show has that grim unpredictability that can be seen in Game of Thrones. Plus, after rewatching the anime, I remembered that the show is badass (love the sound track too!) Lastly, I find the progression of content fun to follow. Constant suspense. One thing that makes me kinda iffy about the series (and many many others like it) is the whole cliche preface that the main character has a special power and must save everyone.

@Nagato Uzumaki, yep. I'd say the fight scenes are superb. There's actually a lot of hot chicks in my school (I'm in highschool) that are obsessed with the series. I'm looking to ask out one in my bio class, but don't want our friendship to be made awkward if she says no. Sorry for the detour there, but I guess the demographic kinda widens in my area

@kill la kira, the original anime ran out of content to produce because the ACTUAL story (the original manga) was still being written. So, when the original anime caught up with the manga, instead of waiting for the manga to advance more (which would either be done with huge season gaps or with lots of filler) the author decided to let the studio producing the anime to write their own second half of the story. The original anime was good, but nowhere near the ACTUAL story (the manga and brotherhood which followed the manga) I would reccomend you watch brotherhood if you have the time

@mathsdebator, A LOT of people watch anime. Why? Some of them are very deep and thought provoking. Some of them are watched because people remember when they obsessed over it as a kid (nostalgia). Some anime are watched for action and fighting. The point I'm trying to get across is that anime is watched far and wide (especially in america - and Japan of course) but not for the reason you may think. However, there are some really fvcked up anime out there (like Boku no Pico. Do not look that up please no)

@Son Goten, watch naruto.. Im almost done with just the naruto series and i can say its actually really good. It can sorta get like dragonball were its just him fighting little fights toward the end of the series kinda boring but the first 120 episodes were really good and im sure it will finish off strong in the last 40 episodes i have left

@Daynste, totally separate. Brotherhood has the original storyline. The 2003 anime (first one, before brotherhood) deviates from the storyline in a way which is enjoyable, but nowhere near as good as Brotherhoods storyline. Here is an explanation (copied and pasted from another one of my explanations to a different user): The original anime ran out of content to produce because the ACTUAL story (the original manga) was still being written. So, when the original anime caught up with the manga, instead of waiting for the manga to advance more (which would either be done with huge season gaps or with lots of filler) the author decided to let the studio producing the anime to write their own second half of the story. The original anime was good, but nowhere near the ACTUAL story (the manga and brotherhood which followed the manga) I would reccomend you watch brotherhood if you have the time
FMA: Brotherhood is by far my favorite!!!!
