@18bluecat, Ya, but Fallout 3 and New Vegas were two completely separate games from 1 and 2, the only thing they have in common is they take place in the same universe.

@fubnub, I have a 350 dollar laptop that plays fallout with mods no problem. You should also play the old fallouts. They're very different but still very fun.

@Bonersaurus, I paid about 1.9k for mine. That includes the monitor wireless keyboard and mouse as well. Its a beast though, only upgrade I need is an ssd

@fubnub, Newegg has i5 desktops on the shell shocker every few days for $400, a power supply and video card cost maybe $225 so for $625 you have a reasonable gaming pc. Also I think you mean fallout 3.

@fubnub, just a warning: Fallout 3 GOTY edition crashes a lot when you first get it if you have a quad core processor. You just need to edit a couple of lines of code in fallout.ini it's really easy, just Google it

@its mountainman, for me (windows 7) I tried the code fixing but it still crashed @ The start. luckily my ps3 works except it crashes every time at a point in opp. anchorage. I had 150 hrs in that, guess the game couldn't handle that much activity :( Now I'm spending my time playing skyrim (I know I'm late)

@fubnub, the games are all relatively old, I'm surprised that you don't have one already. Have you checked the specs of your computer against the ones required for the particular fallout game you want to play?

@My Little Porno, if it came out now it would be terrible. Thousands of bugs that ruin gameplay. Wait for Bethesda to release their finished game with only hundreds of bugs. (For the record of love Bethesda and all their games)

I don't like to do this normally because I feel like I'm pushing people to watch my content, but since this is completely related I think it makes it an exception. I've got a YouTube channel called Pretorious, and I'm doing a modded lets play of Fallout 3 because I'm so excited for Fallout 4 when it comes out. Soon I will own a computer powerful enough to handle Fallout, then I won't see the light of day again until I've played through the series!
