I have to read Animal Farm for my English class. It's the first book I've ever been forced to read that I enjoyed. If you like to read for fun, or even if you don't, read it
@The Pantsmith, I conquer! The first book that I fell in love with that I was "forced" to read was the Outsiders
@Taquito Speedo, I liked, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley
@Burt Reynolds, I avoided reading it the first time, cuz reading isn't one of my favorite subjects, but the second time around I thoroughly enjoyed that one too
@The Pantsmith, that's one of my favorites, and one of the few books I look forward to rereading every few years.
@The Pantsmith, for me the first I had to read that I loved was Book Thief, but we got to choose from a list of books, so I want exactly forced. The first book I really had to read that I loved was 1984. In my opinion it's one of the best books of all time. The worst book I've ever read has to be Grapes of Wrath. I hated reading that book with a passion.
@The Pantsmith, I read that book a few years ago and it is really good. Highly recommend it for anyone interested in a short yet entertaining and thought provoking book
@The Pantsmith, best quote "all animals are created equal but some are created more equal than others."
@The Pantsmith, read 1984 now
@The Pantsmith, October sky, long but absolutely incredible.
@The Pantsmith, I'll add Huck Finn to the list
@The Pantsmith, Lord of the Flies for me. That, and Of Mice and Men.
@The Pantsmith, Yes! Lord of the Flies was another one I liked in English class.
@The Pantsmith, you need to see the film 😉
@The Pantsmith, Another one I like is Frankenstein by Mary Shelley.
@The Pantsmith, The Foutainhead and Atlas Shrugged were my two I was forced to read and felt I would loath, but ended up greatly enjoying.
@ragnellalondite, you should read up on Mary shelley's sister. Her real life would be a great tragic novel.
Yeah, organic activists are terrible.
@Hotchkiz, it's literally worse for you because they can only use organic pesticides which is MUCH worse
Don't even get me on gmo nuts..
We're all gonna die someday, I don't wanna end up dead tomorrow knowing I could've had a piece of cake today
@Bow To Your Senpai, I love fluffy!
