I actually drive a Prius. Personally I only do it because its cheap on gas and its the only car I can afford. I always get people tail gating me or flipping me off no matter how fast I'm driving. I try and go 5 or more over the speed limit so other drivers might back off but it doesnt work. It sucks because people think Prius owners are stuck ups but most of us arent. Just had to show the other side & how its not all "go-environment" for Prius owners. Thank you Funnypics community for hopefully respecting my views. And have a Merry Christmas!
@GretaSnitzel, stay out of the left lane. Merry Christmas to you too.
@Captain Cockmonster, the fact that you purchased a prius makes it NOT the only car you could have afforded, even in the long run. *insert Kermit sipping tea* But that's none of my business...
@GretaSnitzel, I drive mustang it screeeeeeeet scert scert reeeeeooooommmmmmm
@GretaSnitzel, I drive a Mustang but I never think of Prius drivers as stuck up. They can be nice people and understandable why they chose that car. You have a Merry Christmas too my good man, and you keep driving that Prius!
@GretaSnitzel, yeah guys, this guy is ok because he DOESN'T want to help the environment. Go America! Singling out people who want our grand kids to be able to breathe!
@Cocconut Head, They have noses, they can breathe by themselves.
@CriTiKa1, they can breathe in all the crap this generation has been pumping into the air
@GretaSnitzel, you must live in the south.
@I can spell, Nope Canada.
@GretaSnitzel, ohhh. So, Alberta then?
I'll admit that Prius aren't that bad of a car. Some friends and I took one down to Florida from Indiana and made the whole trip on less than $100. Plus the inside is surprisingly roomy and comfortable.
@Pilot Guy, where in Indiana r u from?
But downshifting helps you slow down without eating up your brakes.
@ProfPeeps97, But also put you at higher RPMs putting more emissions out of the tailpipe.
@ProfPeeps97, downshifting at higher speeds will save your brakes but damage your gearbox/engine
@Matchbox Cars, downshifting doesn't hurt anything if you do it right. If anything it helps your engine because it creates a vacuum in the crankcase which can loosen any bulidup of sludge in your engine.
@ProfPeeps97, it also brings up your rpms to unleash them horses!
It saddens me to see all these hillbillies that think its stupid to "care about the environment."
Like damn people I guess you don't give two sh!ts that were killing our only home...
Why yo people slam on the Prius so much? Is it like the "Chevy vs Ford truck" thing, or do people believe that ALL Prius owners are environmental nut jobs?
Not a Prius owner myself, but from an economic view, 45+mpg sounds better than 20mpg (dem gas price savings tho).
@DCobe23, who even cares if a Prius owner is an "environmental nut job?" Isn't it good that they want to protect the only planet we have?!
@Cocconut Head, found the environmentalist lol I joke.
But it was just an exaggeration for comedic effect. Obviously not all Prius owners care for the environment.
hurting the environment is so funny!...
Or when im coming to red light on my motorcycle. Thats how i roll
Why are prius' always the slowest car on the road?
@my2cents, they're on the way to Douchebagistan
@Adalongwong, well, by the downvotes, seems we've offended some of the Douchebagistan citizens.
@my2cents, we have called upon the Douchebagistan trolls...
Why are Prius' always the slowest cars on the road?
@my2cents, so they can be the pompous d*cks they are and tell everyone how they're "saving the earth". Yes, you drive a car with excellent mileage that uses less combustible dinosaur liquid. Good for you! How about you help find alternate energy sources, or better yet, bike? Or maybe you could shut up because one person doesn't make a difference. Rant over.
@my2cents, its Priuses. The apostrophe indicates ownership
@Matchbox Cars, I actually have a wrx. Opposite of a Prius.
@Albert Finestien, and what do you do for the environment? Living in your suburban house polluting away
@Matchbox Cars, yep! But I don't go and gloat about how I may or may not help the environment. I try and do as much as I can. I recycle, I try to limit the water and electricity I use. I could do a lot better, but I don't try and shame everyone into doing more.
@my2cents, not that type of ownersh... ugh, nevermind. Next pic.
@Albert Finestien, that's great. I encourage you to get your friends and family to follow your example. There's absolutely nothing wrong in taking care of the planet you were born on.
I feel that it would have been in better taste if they put quotation marks around the "hurting the environment"
