Sodium chloride = salt
H2O: puts out fire
@Finch, you beat me to it, and I’m not even mad
@Finch, that always trips me up. Science is so cool
@Finch, dont fool people we all know h2o is poisonous to all life! Who would even drink it?
@Implicit88, hydrogen monoxide
I see my services are required.
Poisonous.* Chlorine.* Poisonous.* (x2)
@Ze Grammar Nazi, I saw nazi and a poisonous gas and had my “ I’m going to hell for laughing” laugh. Wasn’t even the intended pun, I definitely got my own locker ready in hell by now
@Ze Grammar Nazi, he didnt mean chlorine he infact meant chloride...
@FFCrisisC, No. He meant chlorine. Chloride is what chlorine changes to when mixed with another substance.
Chlorine is a toxic, highly corrosive, gas.
Sodium is a highly volatile metal.
When mixed they become sodium chloride (aka common table salt) which is edible.
@Ze Grammar Nazi, ah see i thought you meant chloride in general should be switched to chlorine. I didnt even realize as an individual ingredient the name changes. Thanks for the lesson buddy.
@FFCrisisC, No problem.
Some antivaxxer is going to read half of this and accept it as fact
@megamanx181x, we really should purge antivaxxers from society. Not nessacerily kill them, maybe ship them out to a remote island somewhere. I don't want my loved ones or myself to get sick and potentially die just because antivaxxers are ignorant cvnts.
@darkness my friend, I agree, it’s funny in the 21st century you see people’s knowledge revert that to less than the common man in doubting science and facts. I think society has gotten too lazy and sheltered to not witness the first hand damage before there were vaccinations. Probably need a very very rude awakening for them to see this isn’t a lie n
@darkness my friend, don't they basically do it to themselves by not getting vaccines?
@Marida Cruz, no, because they aren't usually the ones that suffer. Most of them more than likely had vaccines as children. The ones that are suffering are their children, other peoples children, and those that are immune compromised, in other words people who have no choice in the matter because of being underage or can't get vaccines for legitimate medical reasons, not a "study" that was proven to be false and even cost the "doctor" that preformed it his medical license.
@darkness my friend, look, I know why anti-vaxxers are bad, you don't need to explain it to me.
Knife in the neck, not poisonous. So it's safe?
@Dephenistrator, yes cause it saves me the pain to have to bury my loved ones that didn't outlive me.
@TurtleBlink, .... dark.....but not poisonous either so good job!
Yeah, and our city water is full of this super dangerous chemical. Everyone who has come in contact with it has died. It is clear, has no taste and no smell. We need to ban dihydrogen monoxide from our drinking water!
Actually people on the autism spectrum are overrepresented in the scientific community, which means the odds are higher that the people developing the vaccines are people with autism, therefore autism causes vaccines.
Here's the thing: any chemical is poisonous at certain amounts.
@DandyZombie35, Oxygen? I was gonna say water, but too much water can be poisonous.
@bowlnmike, I double checked, because I don't like giving false information but yes, taking in too much oxygen is poisonous to the body. All things in moderation. Look up "oxygen toxicity."
@bowlnmike, oxygen is one of the most dangerous elements because it’s highly reactive and flammable. Also mild oxygen poisoning is apparently fun- it’s described as being similar to drunk
@DandyZombie35, everything is lethal to a certain amount. There's a video called What Toxin is on Poison Ivy's Lips? by Because Science that discusses this to understand what dosage is needed for certain toxins.
I feel like the spelling errors take away from their argument.
@EatMyAss, I feel like their argument takes away from their argument.
All ingredients that Meth is made of is poisonous. But when put together...science.
Mustard the condiment: safe.
All other chemicals in the mustard class: cytotoxic blister agents.
On an unrelated note, has anyone here played Enter the Gungeon? I’d like to hear what it’s like because I’m considering buying it.
@WickedStyx, it has lots of guns.
Never played it, sorry for being a smart ass
@WickedStyx, I've been thinking about getting owl boy
@Scottles, me too, actually. Played any other platformers?
@WickedStyx, I think the latest of that style I played may have been shovel knight, or sonic mania but that isn't an exploring type of game as much, a 2d platforms has to be really special these days to hook me but owl boy looks cool
@WickedStyx, while we are off topic, random thought, just made the mistake of looking at a comment thread on YouTube about Goku vs. Superman and now I have cancer from the stupidity
@Scottles, Axiom Verge is a cool platformer. It’s a Metroidvania kind of game. Mostly Metroid-like, really.
@HoorayFerSocks, I've heard a lot about that one too, may get it when I catch up my backlog
@Scottles, the backlog is going to be my undoing... after college and grad school, I’m so far behind. Good luck and Godspeed to you.
@HoorayFerSocks, thanks, God of war calls me too much for me to get anything else atm
@HoorayFerSocks, I’ve played Hollow Knight and Ori and the Blind Forest, how’s Axiom Verge?
@Scottles, god of war is next for me when I’ve finished Horizon Zero Dawn.
@HoorayFerSocks, I need to try to get back into Horizon again. For some reason I just couldn't get into it
@WickedStyx, I really liked Ori and the blind forest. Really looking forward to the new one. Axiom Verge is really similar to Super Metroid, if you’ve ever played that. The world has intentional glitches in it and your abilities eventually let you fix/later those glitches to progress in the game. The boss fights are difficult, but not frustrating and there is a lot of exploration/back tracking etc to do. I liked it a lot.
@WickedStyx, if you play on Steam, another platformer I’ve been into lately is Dead Cells. The colors and art style are great and the game is difficult enough that it stays interesting. It’s in early access right now, but it doesn’t really feel all clunky like most early access games.
@HoorayFerSocks, I’ve been looking at that one too, as well as Celeste
@Scottles, I like Horizon, but I don’t have much time to get into it. It’s one of those games that you need to play for at least a few hours at a time. But after gym time and then work and then my gf making me watch jeopardy every night... there just isn’t enough hours in the day.
@WickedStyx, I’m not sure anyone has actually responded to your initial question yet. Enter the Gungeon is super fun. It’s a very hard game that can be very unforgiving and requires a supreme amount of commitment to actually beat. I love roguelites to pieces but EtG can sometimes be a turn-off because full runs can take like... 1-2 hours. If you like twin-stick shooters like it, you’ll probably get a good 10-20 hours out of it at the very least, much much more if you actually get super into it.
@Forsaken Pillow, thanks
This is why you don’t trust most Facebook groups
@Bad Boi Jesus, Better yet just avoid Facebook all together
@AndorraBall, or any place where people can freely comment. 🤔
That's why there is this other magical term called "PPM". It's right next to the blinker fluid cupcakes. You're welcome.
