In all seriousness, God bless firemen. They are risking their life day after day in order to save others, without knowing anything about the people they're saving. I have the highest respect for those people.
@A pet named Steve, even more so the volunteer departments that do it without getting paid.
@A pet named Steve, thank you madame
@A pet named Steve, Search and Rescue as well
@A pet named Steve, gracias
@A pet named Steve, from a volley firefighter and ems member, thank you.
@A pet named Steve, I was expecting the American one to be a fat joke of some sort, I was pleasantly surprised that there was no disrespect
@A pet named Steve, Do do linemen (guys that climb electric poles). One bad move and they ded. Just thought I'd mention it since they ever get any credit and without them we wouldn't have interwebs. So who's the real hero.
@A pet named Steve, it's extremely hard to get a job as a firefighter, no wonder there's so much volunteers
@Fearless Fapper, where my brother lives and works as a volunteer firefighter, it's not particularly more difficult to get a job at a paid department versus a volunteer one, but the paid department pay is too low to realistically support a small family.
@Ruupasya, I'm Canadian, from Quebec, I don't know why, here it's extremely hard to get a job. Maybe because firefighters keep their jobs for like 50 years, and it's all about family, if your uncle or your dad is a firefighter, you'll pass in front of everyone and get the job.
This is better than the real olympics
Chutes and Ladders have never been so serious.
Not all heroes wear capes.
A salute to the communities Finest volunteers.
I could do that easy! *opens second family size box's of double stuffed Oreos*
I'm genuinely surprised the USA one wasn't some stupid joke like making it a burger eating competition or something.
@Captain Swordsman, ya, same here.
I just started fire academy this past week. We were looking at some of these and they're crazy.
Might help if they actually put out a fire 😝🐶
i just got fired after 7 years at my job. But i put in my application to the city fire department last Saturday. It's an intense process, and they recieve around 4k applications for 120 spots this year... send me some good vibes...
Where's the sleeping competition? Since, you know, that's what they do most of the time. #leo
You know, I've never thought of them needing to move fast. It's obvious of course. But I've always just pictured them slowly lumbering through the flames and emerging in view of someone needing help like an angel. Movies I guess.
Never run on a fireground. These are awesome though, a lot of competitions like this go on all over the place.
If I was in shape I would have fun doing this
That was an awful long gif for there to be no dickbutt at the end.
