@Dragondoot, we did. They released a comic series called Firefly: Those left behind. I own the first two issues. The first issue takes place between the show's end and the movie. It details the return of the blue handed agents (and their demise, good riddance) and a surprise appearance by a villain from the show that we thought was dead (not Niska) The second issue shows Book's backstory, including his time spent as an Alliance officer.
