In all honesty though, goths and punks are often some of the nicest people to have around
@A pet named Steve, it all depends "new" goths and by that I mean those who just decided it is their new style, seem to think they need to be all surly but i do agree that all in all they are about he most mellow group I can think of
@George Feeny, this is so frustrating in the goth community. New goths who use stereotypes as their guide give the rest of the goth community a bad rap. 😑 baby bats need to check themselves .
@A pet named Steve, just don't let them hear you say that about them. They'll hiss and put a curse on you
@A pet named Steve, somebody went through a goth phase lol
@Portlandian, for me, it was punk haha
@A pet named Steve, as someone who spent 2 years as a Goth before joining a punk rock band, I concur.
@LawyeredApe, oouh awesome! What's the name of the band?
@A pet named Steve, oh that was ages ago and we never made it big, played some local gigs but nothing worth noting lol
@LawyeredApe, it's still awesome
@A pet named Steve, Well, I guess there's likable and unlikeable people in every group...
@A pet named Steve, idk man these people look like they'd rip out a person's throat without a second thought, but maybe that's just unfair judgement based on their terrifying looks lmao
@A pet named Steve, these are not punks or goths. They are scene kids. Of course, I'm married to an OG punk... nothing against Scene or Goth kids! Just making the distinction :)
@George Feeny, so wait, "new goth" implies there is "old goth" which is what exactly? Like, unless you're born with guyliner you're just some poser "new goth"? All it amounts to is whether or not you feel it, or you just want attention from society aka, your hyper conservative family/small country town. Now I feel like I need to define feel it.. I guess that would mean you feel less threaten rocking your own unique goth style than not. A poser will come off awkward and rude about his newly adopted persona.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, oh sorry! My mistake. I think that happened because we don't have an equivalent for that in Germany (or at least I don't know it). We call them emos or goths, which is, now that you say it, not the right term for that...
@copdeeznutz, I'm not a goth nor ever been interested in the phase myself however I mention that I use the term new goth to refer to those who have just decided to embrace the clothing style and think they have to act a certain way to fit in. In this case new goth simply means someone who has yet to find themselves in the style of their choice and behaves how they think they should instead of just being themselves. It's not like new money vs old money it's like freshman vs senior. The freshman is nervous thinking they are being judged for everything and have to act a certain way where as the senior is just doing their thing following their interests.
@George Feeny, I like that. That's kind of the idea I was leaning towards. Their rude/awkwardness might just be because they're trying new things and figuring out what they are and aren't comfortable with. They may also like the style but discover they're not really compatible with the culture personality wise and end up confused and angry. I myself am not and have never been goth either, nor were any of my friends tho the subculture is closely knit with some of the things I'm into so I've been around some cool people and posers alike.
@copdeeznutz, lol exactly wether you wanna be goth or preppy for example just be you and life will usually turn out ok
@Drunk Teacher , seriously the last line of your comment cracks me up such a great line.
@A pet named Steve, I've seen this several times, with different sounds..what are they doing. What is this. I must know. I must know why this exists. Regardless of rule 34.
@A pet named Steve, yes we are
@A pet named Steve, going to my 6th consecutive warped tour in less than a month! Met my girlfriend there three years ago. The punk community has been nothing but good to me 😊👌
@A pet named Steve, I'm buzzedyou guys, I'm this is hard to process... I'll be back later...
@A pet named Steve, I think you are confusing goths with metalheads. Metalheads are gentle and sweet af, goths are cynical pricks
@Fix Your Grammar, more like rip the sandwich out of your hand.
@SchroedingerPussPuss, OG punks 👍🏻. I feel people like this are trying to create an image that isn't really them. "Playing dress up". It's intent is to give people a false sense of interest when normally they have a boring personality. Punk is a lifestyle. I live it everyday.
@born2lose, hell- if I had the money I would dress we like that for a night out of just fun like cosplay... definitely not a functional lifestyle. But I'm the jeans, tshirt and chucks kind of girl.
@A pet named Steve, except the ones at la Costa canyon high school, snotty just like the other rich kids. I still hold a grudge 15 years later!!
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I don't wear chucks they're not comfortable or functional. I honestly don't know how anyone could wear them. I guess I'm more of an old school skate punk. I mean I skate I have black flag tattooed on me listen to music from GBH to the specials and most in between. A pair of plaid flooders and vans thats about it with a dwarves flipped bill hat. I'm done
@born2lose, haha truth. I'm comfortable in chucks, but I have narrow feet. My hubs rocks nautical stars on the back of his hands and knuckle tattoos... and is a doctor. You'd be surprised how popular he is. Patients don't notice the tattoos when he's wearing dress slacks, business polo, underarmour long sleeve and his glasses. He covers his old English SICK BOY tattoo 😭
This is 100% required in my life.
@ JCLEMZ, this will ruin you more. You know how they dye their hair jet black but do they do the same to their pubes?
Thomas the Tank engine required. This is bollòcks
@Unkle77, agreed. Or the Kirby Dreamland
I want a version with Darude - Sandstorm
If they're all here, who's running hot topic?
Please somebody do this but with either Thomas the tank engine theme or slide in Mario 64
Nice performance by "the unemployables".

Why are white people hated? This is the answer.
I like the green chick
... but did you see the moon walking bear?
@Thane of Deez, I was too focused on the dude wearing the haz-mat breathing mask.
Nothing better than a dance party under the overpass.
D-D-D-Drop the bass!
