Bethesda screwed up big and now the only way to get back their fans is to release elder scrolls 6. I just hope they don't try to rush it. They really need it to have a near perfect launch if they want fans to respect them again.
@JewishXenu, From what I've heard, ES6 is being made in the same outdated and broken engine that all the previous games were made in including Fallout76.
@JewishXenu, I feel like a lot of games recently have had a catastrophic launch. After Fallout 76 came Anthem which I heard might have been even worse. I feel like I can't get a new game anymore since they're all so rushed.
@A Math Dealer, I dunno about that, in all fairness Anthem is polished visually and for the most part works just fine, it's just empty and many things are completely useless. Fallout76 is on an outdated engine, constantly broken, and just as empty but everything at least has a purpose. In conclusion both games blow pretty equally.
@Catbug, this is true. As of about a month ago
@Catbug, well most likely es6 will be produced in the main Bethesda headquarters. Fallout 76 was produced in the smaller Austin headquarters by a less experienced team.
@JewishXenu, "The bag shown in the promotion was a prototype and proved too expensive to make. We're not planning on doing anything about it."
@Catbug, While I agree that the engine they use is old and outdated, their physics engine however (Havoc I believe) is actually a very competent engine used in games like Red Faction: Guerilla and dozens of other great games, Bethesda just doesnt know how use it.
@owanobi, all I want is a game engine that isn't tied to frame rate
@FullMetalAlcoholist, you know, saaame
AVGN needs to do modern games like fallout 76.
Someone surmised that they released a broken game on purpose because the higher ups at Bethesda (the suits who only care about money and not entertainment) refused to let the devs take time effort and money to make a new engine since the current one was working just fine with Skyrim and Fallout 4 to earn them money. So the devs showed them what the engine coudlnt do so maybe they would finally let them make a new one. Its just a theory... But it makes sense.
Can I please get a good quake game like the old ones? I was pretty disappointed with the movement mechanics in champions, I regret buying it. I want to really bhop with everyone (especially DOOMguy (never gonna call him DOOM Slayer) and Quakeguy), not just the drug addict with the space skateboard.
Fallout 76 finally got a break from the backlash once EA games released anthem......twice smh
