@RetardedGyarados, Mythbusters did two tests on this. And there is medical pictures of bullets hitting people in the head that were fired up. Yeah they aren't as dangerous if fired "straight up" however if even at a slight angle they still hold lethal potential and the likely hood of firing at a perfect 90° angle is difficult. Besides it's illegal to discharge a weapon into the air. Because of the chance of it killing someone.

@ajr12100, for anyone who doesn't know I'll save you a google- Walter Scott was a 50 year old black guy who was shot in the back by an officer a few years back- I just saw on the news the other week (thus it came to mind here) the officer plead guilty after a video showed Scott was walking away and was unarmed
Yea fire lethal stray rounds into the air to try to charge someone with possession. I usually stand by police but what the fvck man?!
