Or be like me a purposely do so!
Story time: I just got new rims on my Corvette(‘89). These are 18 instead of the 16’s that we’re on it, and the extra inch off the ground made it to where the car doesn’t glue to the pavement quite as well. Was going down my road at the speed I normally would, hit a bump going around a long corner, and the entire back it whips around my left side. Easily the scariest and most bada** moment of my life. Nearly crapped myself though
@The 48th Ronin, that's why you keep your tire diameter the same when you plus size your wheels! ....them manly slides though!
@WelI Obviously, honestly wasn’t really my choice, that’s all that was available currently and I needed them(I had a wreck a few months ago and messed up both passenger side rims). Definitely something to remember though lol
@The 48th Ronin, Similar story: while driving out on a back road, I got stuck behind a mustang that I thought was going too slow. (He was actually going about 65 with pouring rain) I decided to pass him at a blind corner because I'm a moron apparently and ended up getting close to 90 passing him. It was at this point my stock Toyota Corolla decided to Tokyo drift through the blind corner directly toward a jeep coming in the oncoming lane. I turned sharply and was able to get back into my lane, now sliding almost horizontally, but I was heading for a ditch. About three feet before flying off the road and into the ditch I regained enough traction to fishtail back around and stay out of the ditch. Needless to say I drove under the speed limit almost all the way home after that
@BenevolentDM, nice, nice. It’s always great when I accidentally turn my car sideway in the rain and then I have to pretend I meant to do it so I don’t look like an idiot lol
*deja vu I’ve been in this place before intensifies*
Is this going to be the new meme?
@SexGodWaluigi, I think it's been a meme for a bit.
But it does seem to be making a come back.
