@Rojav, that's what people think you should do, but in actuality giving them space is really 1000 times better. When my mom died, people wouldn't leave me alone about it which just made the grieving process much more drawn out. Also when people bring you flowers and stuff and come to apologize to you, it makes it feel like it's all about them and that they're doing it so they don't feel bad about you anymore. Just my opinion from personal experience though.
If some one I knew dad died, I would like go to their house with flowers and do it in person
