Don’t call it a depression. Millennials love depression so we’ll never get out of it
@BigJohnson86, so we welcome “the great” one
@BigJohnson86, ok boomer
This economy is so depressed I just bought a bigger house and my 401k is higher than it’s ever been, sad!!!
@Gothem, “It’s snowing where I live, so global warming must be a hoax!”
You forgot about the nazis
@lemongrenade, I’m certain the comic author already believes they are everywhere in the USA
I wish art deco came back. But we already have "flappers", we call them hoes now. For the Charlton, we got fortnight dances. And for the economy, nothing short Trump being unlawfully removed from office will cause a crash like that. But besides all of that, I do hope art deco comes back.
Our economy is shït alright. Might as well go all the way.
@FaceGhost, You're welcome
Don't forget widespread racism. Yay!
By all accounts we are due for a recession. One of the biggest factors taken into account is consumer sentiment or confidence. This is starting to trend downwards as people save more and spend less. Another is our unemployment being well below the natural rate of unemployment.
However, recessions need not be huge or last very long at all. Nearly all serious economists believe we are due for a recession. There is serious debate however on how big it is likely to be, what may kick it off, and what should be done to mitigate or reduce it.
Oh boy, I hope the 1920s part 2 brings rampant capitalism which means we get a city on the sea floor A city where the artist would not fear the censor; where the scientist would not be bound by petty morality; where the great would not be constrained by the small! And with the sweat of your brow, it can become your city as well.
And I helped!
@SimonPetrikov, don't forget rising heterophobia.
