Why are people acting like piccolo raised gohan when chichi did all the work.
I'm pretty sure he would never went to school if it wasn't for her.
@420coolguy69, because Goku can’t be bothered to be a father(ed)
@420coolguy69, because piccolo was clearly his father figure and also solely ‘raised’ him for an entire year that was pretty much the most impactful year of his life up to that point. It was the year where he was forcefully transitioned from a boy to a man way before he otherwise should have. The period where a child develops into an adult is the most critical point in raising them because that is when their character, work ethic, etc really develops so since he was the sole ‘caretaker’ during that tough time people say he raised him. Chichi did lay a good foundation tho
@Joeyc1, I completely agree I just think people should give chi chi some credit, after all she did her best to make sure he didn't end up like goku and I think we can all agree that's for the best
@420coolguy69, you think it was Chi Chi that took care of Gohan and his monster monkey turning self when goku was running a marathon in the afterlife?
@WhyNotBoth, no I never said that, piccolo was a good dad all I'm saying is chi chi needs some credit as his mom that's it
@420coolguy69, she does deserve more credit but when you see Piccolo save Gohan time and time again and even babysit his daughter that all you can think of
@Joeyc1, you mean the year piccolo threw him into the wild and was like "survive you f*ck nugget" and left him and then came back to make him train to fight the saiyans? Yeah piccolo developed a bond with him but piccolo was definitely not the father figure people think he is
@Thatbright, they literally show piccolo watching over him as he sleeps. He didn’t abandon the kid he just created the illusion that he did so he would grow up
