Many cows went into making the Armour. A weird amalgamation of flesh appears, and demands to be put down
@dauneric0, *bard rolls to seduce said creature
@Simeon, bard says instead of being put down, it's going to go down on it. Meanwhile the person engulfed in the amalgamation throws up on top of it in disgust
Ok, let’s think about this.
“If you touch a dead creature that has been dead for no more than a century and didn’t die of old age”
Well, if your DM does not want to let you do it their out is there. “Creature”. Despite what it’s made from, leather armor isn’t a creature.
Secondly, “casting this spell to restore to life a creature that has been dead more than a year costs you greatly, until you finish a long rest you can’t cast spells and you have disadvantage on all attack rolls, saving throws, and ability checks”
Given how “expensive” armor is, most people would have one set of armor and they’d use minimum funds to keep it combat ready. It would probably be older than a year.
So you wouldn’t want to. If you have access to resurrection you are either a Bard or Cleric (in 5e), which means that cost is too high for you to want to use to just meme around in combat. Plus it’s a 7th level spell, there’s more useful, and funnier, things you could be doing.
@AceWolf456, lemme stop you right there hoss. Technically the armor is listed as an item, not a creature so the spell wouldn't work anyways as it has no verified target.
@Mag3rPayne, next time I'll read your comment when I'm not drunk. Disregard all i said
@Mag3rPayne, it’s ok. Drunks have a worse attention span than someone with ADHD, and that was a lot of text.
@AceWolf456, I admitted I was drunk at the time, but I do not admit that I AM a drunk. Distinction made for legal purposes only and not to be used against me by my personal FBI agent...
No. That’s red dragon leather.
No, no, he's got a point...
Im I the only one who had to ff thru parts of AonT, some of the dialogue was so cringey. Sorry for sharing.
If I was a DM, I would absolutely make this a critical failure for trying to resurrect a character with leather armor.
If you can touch the armor, then technically yes, I guess.
