I’m really glad this wasn’t some robot chicken thing and it stayed wholesome
@Rumplycarlos , there was an In Living Color skit with Jim Carrey about him that was pretty funny
@Rumplycarlos , this was on Google’s home page just a few days ago
@Rumplycarlos , I was so anxious the entire video and am also so glad this stayed so pure. To tell the truth, I needed this this morning and I really could use more Mr. Rogers in my life.
@abelgray, Eddie Murphy used to spoof him on SNL as Mr Robinson, a guy in the ghetto who said stuff like "goodbye boys and girls" as he dove out the window when Mr Policeman knocked on the door. It was one of his best bits.
@Rumplycarlos , how disappointing
I still accept that people like thi- DANG IT, THE WHOLESOMENESS IS SPREADING
@Duncan5769, well he left that wheelchair kid stranded on the cloud and he keeps saying he wants to be with the children and gas always wanted to sooo
I was waiting the whole time for something to corrupt this.
@Rowule, me too but ill be damed if this didnt make me happy too.
@Rowule, Mr. Rodgers is too wholesome.
@Rowule, this was on Google’s home page just a few days ago
Few people in this lifetime are as genuinely good and selfless as Mr. Rodgers.
Upvote to infinity
@Gysenator, And beyond!
I grew up on Mr. Rogers. I started kindergarten in 1991 and found out quickly that school ends after Mr. Rogers came on PBS. I wasn't having any of that. I'd eat lunch, fake a stomach ache and get home right on time for this wholesomeness. I thought I had all the adults fooled. It took them a few days to figure out I was faking. So when I exposed why I was doing all this to my mom, she started taping them for me to watch later.
@CaseCat, I grew up with him too but I was born in '99. I think I watched the reruns as a memorial to him. I found out a year ago that he died in '04.
@Ashoka02Tano, by my time it was already into just re-runs, too.
That man is the epitome of human kindness and care

Okay I'm crying.
Aw, right in the feels.
This actually made me cry. A 38 years old guy.
If you dislike this you have no soul
That was perfict
@George Feeny, oh come on it would be hilarious seeing someone search using that tag and finding super wholesome stuff like this or super disturbing stuff. I tend to mark those like this just for my own sense of humor
Something bad happen!!! Something bad happen!!! ... dammit.
My former music teacher actually mentored under Mr. Roger's and even had his own show at one point
Who's tears are these not mine...
I respect everything mr Roger's has done. But I have never liked his show to the point that I just can't watch it without getting irritated. Idk why
