When I talked to my mom last week, gas prices where she was in California were at $4/gal. Glad I got outta that place when I did.
@Anonymous Jack III, the arco I go to was only $3.80, but everywhere else is like $4.20/gal... and yet we voted against repealing the gas tax, because apparently most voting Californians hate having money
@Anonymous Jack III, $3.77 at my local 7/11. Its some bullshiiiit
@Anonymous Jack III, I live in North Texas and paying anything over $2.15 is absurdity here
@Cpzombie, I feel like most people living in California make it elsewhere in the world then move here because they can afford it. Growing up here, I can’t wait to get out and see what other states have to offer.
@Wileyking409, yep $2.04 in Houston right now
@Wileyking409, yo fellow Texan. How y’all doing up there. In West texas here.
@Soy un Ranchero, yup, I’m thinking Texas so far, because I need a city but I also want non-gimped guns, and most importantly it has to have enough good asian food
@Cpzombie, Isn't that the entire point of living in California?
@satan of the north, Asian food? Yup, but the new Fasttrak lanes have solidified my desire to leave... you have to pay taxes for lanes you can’t even use unless you pay a toll, it’s complete bs
@Cpzombie, Check out MN, or WI. If you can handle the winter, it's great up here. WI has lower taxes by far, but MN is on the higher side if I'm not mistaken
@satan of the north, do you have tech jobs and Asians though? I’m going to school for CS, and I’ve grown up in the Bay Area so I can’t survive without a variety of good food
@Cpzombie, There's quite a few big tech companies here in MN, and ya there's good variety of good food here. Except for real good BBQ. People claim we have some good BBQ places, but compared to the South it's kinda mediocre at best.
@satan of the north, in that case, WI is on my list of places to consider
Wow they're only 2:30 here
@CrazyManInaBox, and I’m mad they went back up that high too
@CrazyManInaBox, It's $2.50 here right now. I remember when it was $4.25 so I'm not gonna complain. $40 to fill an 11 gallon tank that wasn't even empty was bullshít
You do know the US is far cheaper than the UK right? If I translate our price into gallons and dollars it comes out at $7.10/gal
