Are Tenzin's kids
No. They are not. Don't even.
Am I the only person that isn't that much of a fan over the Legend of Korra? The entirety of the Last Airbender was showing Aang's purity, peace, and spirituality, and he still struggled to even be able to interact with the spirits. Meanwhile Korra is SUPPOSED to be the least spiritual, yet she's tearing open PHYSICAL portals to the spirit realm, while being a complete bitch. I know I'm going to be down-voted by the drooling, rabid fans, but I just simply cannot relate to her character, and it feels like there's a lot of plot holes and retconning of the world.
@Yg Dosst, For one, how in the hell was Amon ENERGYBENDING people's bending away? Especially when bending is a purely spiritual thing to begin with, and the fact that only the avatar could energybend, as was said by the lion turtle himself.
@Yg Dosst, I actually really enjoy Legend of Korra, although my cousin feels very similar to how you feel about the show. I like it because we're seeing a new avatar who's very different from the previous one. In fact when I heard she was going to be "hot-headed and independent" I was really excited since I knew that would probly lead to a lot of action (which it did). And I think pro-bending is pretty cool
@Yg Dosst, lolwut
@Sexy Homunculus, I will admit there were great moments in TLOK, like Tarlok's and Noatok's final moments in Season One. As well as the characterization of the Airbenders. But the primary bulk of the show just feels wrong, especially as a continuation off of TLAB's sense of awe and mysticism. I could understand if Aang made some kind of pact, or was spiritual enough to help in some way to bring the entire spiritual realm closer, or if they gave ANY explanation to Amon's power to cut off bending... but as is it feels really awkward every time they bring up some plot point more contradictory than a Scotch-Korean.
@Yg Dosst, the didn't tell us what happened to Zuko's mother.
@Yg Dosst, finally someone like me!
@Yg Dosst, *SPOILER* It was thought that Amon was using energybending to rid the benders of their bending but it was revealed toward the end that Amon was a waterbender who used bloodbending to get rid of those bender's bending (not sure how this works but seems plausible).
@Yg Dosst, I happen to enjoy the show but I agree she doesn't relate to many people. They didn't explain Amon but They did say it was blood bending not energy bending. Hopefully season 3 sparks your interests because it sucks when a good show looses fans.
@Yg Dosst, I love the Legend of Korra, don't forget that she is a teenager who is going through boy problems while having a celebrity status being the avatar while also having the full on responsibility of saving the world from it's damned self. All while still trying to rebel from her dad. The problem you guys have (in my opinion) is that the show isn't a continuation is Aang. Seriously if you guys try to watch Legend of Korra without trying to compare it directly to the Last Airbender, then you will see how good it really is.
@Parallel Lines , my thoughts/theory on the blood bending stopping other benders is that he may have found the nerves,veins/arteries, or segment of the brain that is responsible for the benders powers and created a blood clot or blockage by Harding a lot of blood within that area, thus causing them not to be able to bend.
@Yg Dosst, I think it's absolutely terrible, just like 99% of the shows on nick these days. (SpongeBob being the ONLY exception)
They both bend my heart strings....I'll show myself out
@Sir Proper, *KARATE KICK* No. You stay.
So one got a sex change?
*Cough Master of the spirt relm *cough cough
I honestly despise the despicable me movies. For anyone whom believes that the "minions" are funny, stop coexisting with me.
@Jcmwarrior, I will have to agree with you. I'm pretty sure no one watches those movies for anything but the minions
Except that Legend of Korra and everything associated with it is superior to all. Except for the movie.. We don't talk about that.
@Neigh Sayer, ATLA was just a tad better than TLOK.
Uh how? PRETTY SURE one is a boy
MOTHER OF GOD
I don't see margo (one with the glasses, I think) jumping around, bending air and sh!t.
Only know despicable me. So what, wanna fight about it?
@Saul, I won't fight, but I will highly recommend both Avatar the Last Air Bender, and the Legend of Korra.
@RMB, apparently 4 people would like to fight about it. Damn.
I realize there is only one L in realize.
Ummmm no juat cause they both have 3 people by no means make them the same
Not at all......I'm honestly kinda. Mad now
No one would ever realize that.
Not even close.
No not at all. But that grammar though...
Be the leaf
Don't know who the bottom three are
Except for the fact that one of them is a guy and probably a bunch of other stuff I just don't watch whatever anime this is
But one is a boy. NO.
