Am I the only person that isn't that much of a fan over the Legend of Korra? The entirety of the Last Airbender was showing Aang's purity, peace, and spirituality, and he still struggled to even be able to interact with the spirits. Meanwhile Korra is SUPPOSED to be the least spiritual, yet she's tearing open PHYSICAL portals to the spirit realm, while being a complete bitch. I know I'm going to be down-voted by the drooling, rabid fans, but I just simply cannot relate to her character, and it feels like there's a lot of plot holes and retconning of the world.

@Yg Dosst, I actually really enjoy Legend of Korra, although my cousin feels very similar to how you feel about the show. I like it because we're seeing a new avatar who's very different from the previous one. In fact when I heard she was going to be "hot-headed and independent" I was really excited since I knew that would probly lead to a lot of action (which it did). And I think pro-bending is pretty cool

@Sexy Homunculus, I will admit there were great moments in TLOK, like Tarlok's and Noatok's final moments in Season One. As well as the characterization of the Airbenders. But the primary bulk of the show just feels wrong, especially as a continuation off of TLAB's sense of awe and mysticism. I could understand if Aang made some kind of pact, or was spiritual enough to help in some way to bring the entire spiritual realm closer, or if they gave ANY explanation to Amon's power to cut off bending... but as is it feels really awkward every time they bring up some plot point more contradictory than a Scotch-Korean.

@Yg Dosst, I love the Legend of Korra, don't forget that she is a teenager who is going through boy problems while having a celebrity status being the avatar while also having the full on responsibility of saving the world from it's damned self. All while still trying to rebel from her dad. The problem you guys have (in my opinion) is that the show isn't a continuation is Aang. Seriously if you guys try to watch Legend of Korra without trying to compare it directly to the Last Airbender, then you will see how good it really is.

@Parallel Lines , my thoughts/theory on the blood bending stopping other benders is that he may have found the nerves,veins/arteries, or segment of the brain that is responsible for the benders powers and created a blood clot or blockage by Harding a lot of blood within that area, thus causing them not to be able to bend.
No. They are not. Don't even.
