"I don't know, we could really use a healer on our team..."
"That's an idea. But How about instead we add another sniper?"
@Good Guy Satan, that healer is a spy
@Good Guy Satan, Welcome aboard!
@Good Guy Satan, Okay guys, we have two snipers and we still really need a healer. Picks Anna. You're just toying with me, aren't you?
As someone who's heard, "We don't need a Hanzo" one round, then, "Please stay on Hanzo" the next round on many occasions, I feel this doesn't really apply
@Colombian Sugar, trust me this does apply, if you ain't in GM as a hanzo or widow main it means you don't hit headboxes often enough and would be more useful on a different character
@Spess mehrens, Oh I do. It's just that going to school and work means solo queuing instead of teaming up with friends, and randoms will either lock in DPS from the start or throw if I don't switch to something else. There's a reason that I'm still technically a Mercy main
@Colombian Sugar, found the bronze
@Oh so cherry, Do you have anything constructive to add or a substantial counter to my statement, or are you just gonna jest and assume everyone who plays Hanzo is bad?
@Colombian Sugar, I know that pain, zenyatta is my fav to play but if I solo cue It's boostio time boooiiiiiiiiis
@Spess mehrens, Zen is pretty solid in comp, but yeah, solo que people always run when you try to put your balls on them.
@Colombian Sugar, I've never seen a competent Hanzo in silver or lower. The actually good Hanzos can turn games by themselves and so generally will climb out of the low tiers. It also doesn't help that Hanzo is a fùcking cùnt
@TR8R, I won't disagree with you there. Playing Hanzo actually got me one or two games shy of diamond one season, but I ran into toxic players that would throw if I picked him. The type that would bitch about not getting heals after diving into the enemy team by themselves and dying.
@Colombian Sugar, sounds like you just have shīt luck with teams. I'll generally give a Hanzo a round to prove they are worth the loss of a different hero before asking them to switch if they truly suck
Can't confirm. Am Honzo main. Am gold currently, have been plat multiple seasons already.
@Feygut Overlord, Good for you! Most heroes, if they are played well, can be good on teams. I hate when people have such a rigid mindset about team comp.
@DandyZombie35, I think team comp matters greatly and working with your team and picking a helpful character goes a long way. However, people tend to be dicks when they ask you to change and turn to belittling teammates because they choose hanzo or whoever. It's a balance between strategy and BEING A NICE FVCKING PERSON.
@RustyHamburger, Right? I don't mind switching if I want to try playing a Symmetra, but good lord don't be a dici about it.
@DandyZombie35, Seriously! I like trying new characters often in quickplay and there always that one person raging at me or someone else. Awful lot of toxic players.
@RustyHamburger, And in quickplay win/lose doesn't even matter!
@RustyHamburger, see that's weird I never see toxic ragers in QP. Every once in awhile in Comp but you just block and move on
@TR8R, I guess I can see that. Maybe I just p!ss everyone off lol
@RustyHamburger, maybe haha! Nah ik they exist I've just had really good luck with my teams
There's this new thing called non-meta heroes can still be good. Every hero has their place.
Edit: Spelling because my dumb fingers can't type.
@DandyZombie35, found the hanzo main. Him and widow have such absurdly low win rates that they have no place in comp
@QuinnB, lol no, I play a terrible Hanzo, I usually tank or use defense heroes, can't snipe for my life. I'm just saying that Hanzo and Widow can work, they're just niche picks that require solid teamwork to be more effective.
@QuinnB, wrong. I moved to high diamond paired with a fantastic Hanzo in season 5. A good Hanzo can literally win games by themselves
Tracer is cool. I like teleporting. A lot.
@A Math Dealer, So your saying that you constantly disappear without a 'Trace'?
Hanzo main here have been plat every season I played, can confirm there are some god awful Hanzos out there.
I main junkrat
@Captain Toothpaste , I'm sorry about your cancer....
Did you mean to say Yasuo?
So i want to ask u guys something. Do you all have a main in team based games? for me that's a no... in paladins i never played one character, i did have my favorites but not a specific one, i find this really boring. Same for overwatch, i loved to play at least one character from each class(which really helpled my hanzo main,mcree main, and the die die die guy main. (I loved zenyata and Dva the most)
What about the smurf hanzo that’s top 500 playing with silver people and completely carrying the one team? Wtf
