Some people have thousands of hours into stardew, if that's not a hard-core gamer idk what is
@Mantis Tobaggan, I've found dedicated time is much better for evaluating hard-core anything than skill
@Mantis Tobaggan, I am one of those people. I am currently looking forward to Corral Island and hope it delivers as hard as SDV did
@wynaut, Then I can claim I play every RPG on hardcore.
1. The Stardew creator just announced a new game and it looks delightful!
2. I gotta look up Corral Island!
@wynaut, I have 1000 hours in dark souls 3, and 800 in dark souls 2… those games take me about 8-10 hours (more or less) to complete… do I have a problem
@Duncan5769, probably, but I don't think there's a cure
But really, you've literally played these games hundreds of times, and it doesn't sound like they were speed run attempts bumping up the numbers; that's insane. That's either some deep passion or masochism, maybe both. Hard-core indeed
@wynaut, Well i have never speed ran dark souls3, that’s a game I play for passion. I do speedrun Dark souls 2 No bonfire, no death runs so that one is masochism (especially sense with all those attempts only 3 have ever been successful
My wife played this and was just trying to have a good time and go camping in the woods, then she’s with Emily in the tent and she sees it wiggling and she starts freaking out, “OH MY GOSH EMILY IS RAPING ME!!!! I JUST WANTED TO BE FRIENDS!!”
@Child Slapper, Emily is the blue haired one right? I thought the same when I made friends with the alcoholic guy I was like "Noooo! We just went to a baseball game dude wtf!"
But he gave me a blue chicken so...
You can be a hardcore gamer without having to play hardcore games
I’ve stayed up a fair few times because I was super into a point in the story
This has been my wife and I for the last month. The community center ain’t gonna fix itself!
