Water is temp flavored
Interesting fact. The human ear can determine, in blind tests, if water is hot or ice cold when poured at a height into a container. Cold water has a crisper sound, due to water molecules being more tightly packed together, whereas hot water molecules are more spaced out and make a more muted tone.

@TheMightyImp, just the human ear?
@butternut squash, I've never asked a squirrel, but maybe they can too. But then again they don't really need to know I guess, not really having kettles or running hot water. :)
@TheMightyImp, Hold that thought I’m gonna do an experiment
@TheMightyImp, but how many licks does it take the human ear to reach the center of a tootsie pop
