Australia has experiences fighting birds
I was fortunate enough to be in Hawaii last year. I did not expect there to be as many chickens as there were.
@Georgis Khan, i vote we send the colonel and 100 of his best Kentuckians, along with all the herbs and spices we can muster.
@Georgis Khan, I was in Hawaii last month. They’re still there
@AverageIdiot, but what herbs and spices??
@Jolee Bindo, https://www.food.com/recipe/kfc-original-recipe-chicken-copycat-393795
@Jolee Bindo, I’m thinking Herbert Hoover and posh spice.
They're overrun with cock
If only the invasive species were edible
This reminds me of the war in Australia against the emus
@Cooktavius Gordova, that is uhhh the joke
They kept talking about how the chickens are hurting the island and the local people have trouble making ends meet and are hungry. I said “just eat the chickens” and they looked at me like I was a monster.
@ yiadda, I live here. It’s because the feral chickens have very sinewy and awful-tasting meat. That, and they hardly have any meat on them because there’s so many competing for less bugs.
Of course the chickens are winning.
It wouldn't be so bad if the chickens weren't tough and bitter. I got rid of all the ones on my property though.
The Hawaiians must be chicken-shjt
