@megamanx181x, my last company i worked for never had managements back for employees or customers. So one day i got called into hr for a employee complaint that was completely made up. Long story short i said my side of the story and said they could ask several other employees that overheard the conversation. Hr responded with no thats here say and they cant believe me because i am management and what the employee said i said was considered harassment (which was a lie). I proceeded to curse out the hr rep who was the only one in the room. She looked appalled at me and said she was going to report this. I replied with, you are an hr manager and i will tell them you harassed me and protocol is they believe my story first right? HR in my company had a bad rap, but after this stunt the employee was disciplined and i was not, i even told my boss what i did and she laughed and said she should give me a promotion for calling them out on their stupidity.

@megamanx181x, exactly. Most of the people there had little to no education, and little to no hr experience. Even top management. Sadly enough they controlled raises for the entire company and would consistently give themselves raises but not other departments, they did this by cleverly adding new jobs and closing old jobs since promotions and raises were on hold during the recession. Yet they also controlled adding or subtracting jobs so they let no other departments add jobs without extreme need. Corruption at its finest. It was a private company so the top hr manager had direct ties to the owning family.
HR has his back, wow
