Sorta on the topic. How would you guys feel about rebelling against console exclusives? Personally I believe the ONLY thing that should determine which console you buy is the power/quality/etc and the cost.
@Possible Paradox, had you asked me this before July of last year, I would've been all for it. But I literally bought a PS4 under the pretense of gaining access to all the exclusives. Granted, the interface is better designed and the games install a little faster, but I'm not sure where I fall on either side of the discussion.
@Possible Paradox, I can understand where you are coming from, as having good exclusives on multiple consoles means you have to spend more money or you can’t play all the good stuff. However I think that the console exclusives cause companies to compete because how good the games are has a large impact on the sales of the consoles. Which means that the quality of the games are better. So I support that 100%
@Trides, interesting. I never thought about how the competition affects the games. My hope was that the competition would drive the CONSOLES themselves to be better
@Possible Paradox, sorry I like Zelda games too much
@Possible Paradox, I just unpacked my old XBox360 - so every new game is an ‘exclusive’ to another console as far as I’m concerned.
But I don’t care cos I just restarted New Vegas and discovered that I can buy all the DLC for about a tenner, and I have about £30 of Microsoft Store credit for some reason so it’s technically free.
@eleven, two of my favorite franchises are exclusives, Zelda and Halo
To say that one console or pc is better than another shouldn’t be reflective of those who use it. I personally like the PS4 over the xbox one but I don’t dislike people who play on the xbox.
He speaks the truth!
