I'm I the only one who really doesn't care about spoilers?
@Deth, if I get spoiled, I have to stop watching/playing/reading the show/game/book. At least for a while. I hate it. And I will hate everyone who does spoil me. At least for a while, as well. I'm not good at holding a grudge.
@Deth, fine, in avengers endgame, antman grows to a big size puts thanos in his äss and shrinks to beyond quantum real to defeat thanos forever
@Deth, Is it be spoilers just don't bother you or because you don't care about Endgame?
@Weird Porn Stash, spoilers just dont take away from the overall experience of the movie for me in most cases. For example, spoilers do matter in a movie like The 6th Sense because the plot of the movie is based upon a twist within the final 10 minutes of the film. On the other hand if you told me at Shrek ended with (spoiler alert) Shrek and fiona getting married, I wouldn't care because the movie is about an ogre and his friend on a journey for his home and finds himself along the way. It's not something that can be spoiled, it can only be experienced. Shrek is love. Shrek is life.
@Ray213, oh you saw the leaked footage too eh?
@A pet named Steve, yeah, was watching breaking bad when I was back in school, and it took me a little while to get through it, and hadn't had anything spoiled for me and the people who knew I was watching it didn't talk about it around me. So I've gone through most of the series and (I would say spoilers but it's years old at this point) but the night before I just got up to the episode before hank dies in the next one, I'm in school and speaking with our little group in English class and this one girl who was a real bitch anyway just goes "have you got to the part where hank dies?" and just crushed me. She didn't do it purposefully but still, just completely ruined it and pissed me off massively
@Jipz, understandable. I was just spoiled by you as well and now I hate you.
Just kidding, like I said it's been years and by the time I watch it I'll have forgotten it haha.
@Jipz, my friend from uni spoiled cowboy bebop for me and Apparently I was so pissed that he apologized to me first thing next morning and gave me a Lego figurine of general grievous.
@A pet named Steve, this is completely unrelated but I think I've Just had my first run in with article 11 and 13 being a bitch. Tried to view a new York news article from reddit and it directed me to their website, only to have a message appear that read; "Unfortunately, our website is currently unavailable in most European countries. We are engaged on the issue and committed to looking at options that support our full range of digital offerings to the EU market. We continue to identify technical compliance solutions that will provide all readers with our award-winning journalism." I'm not 100% sure it's because of the articles but since they are talking about" technical compliance" that's what makes me think that.
Edit: I've also just read that article 1e doesn't go into effect until 2021. When it was passed I did read that it would start affecting stuff within 5 days so I don't know what to believe, and this message just screams article 13.
@Jipz, oh no... I didn't think we'd see anything like that so soon. Hopefully it's really just something with technical issues or something... Or it's time for a VPN.
@Deth, spoilers remove suspense.
@A pet named Steve, spoilers: The pet is named Steve
@A pet named Steve, “ah, the negotiator!”
@A pet named Steve, snape kills Dumbledore
@Prince super Vegeta , * shocked gasp*
@MrZaroff, sometimes. Sometimes they increase it. I learned a major spoiler for Infinity War and it made movie 10 times more intense waiting for it to finally happen
@A pet named Steve, *spoiler: A Pet Named Steve and PippyPie will get married and make beautiful babies someday*
@PippyPie, spoiler: PippyPie gets arrested for beastiality
@A pet named Steve, *spoiler: lots of “doggy” style en route to beastiality arrest
@Deth, I get tired of hearing everyone complain about spoilers. It's the internet, it has always happened and it will always continue to happen.
What gets me is now people are trying to find ways to basically block, ban, or remove comments from people that do spoil things because "they don't like it". Didn't know free speech worked that way. What if I was interested in a conversation with that person after finding out they watched the movie/played the game? So annoying.
@Devils Conscious, coming back to this post after getting spoiled is funny to me.
