We just want you to stop stealing our money to give to your cronies!
@big freedom, I also don’t want healthcare.
@NameyMcNameFace, huh. I didn’t realize that the federal government not giving you something for free means that you’re not able to get it on your own.
So strange that for the entirety of human existence people worked and acquired for themselves but now - if it’s not provided by the federal government - people cannot have it.
Thanks for educating me. I have changed my mind and now agree.
/sarcasm/ as I assume your comment was sarcasm as well.
@big freedom, the right to health care and the right to somebody's services are not the same. You want it go get it. You want water. Start digging or find a river. You want clean water pay your your local water "company" or buy it bottled.
@big freedom, but if we dont give the government taxes, what will they give to all the corporations who need to pay their executives? Who's going to lay off the workforce without being paid?
I wasn’t being sarcastic. Just pointing out that things made by private companies are better than the government.
Private roads are better than public ones.
Private schools are better than public ones.
Private security is better than police. Etc etc.
I replyed to someone else’s taxation for roads bs argument.
tax is theft
@Hoban Washburne, ok but I kinda like roads
@Jascha Heifetz, but how much of your taxes actually go to roads?
@Cpzombie, Not much, but the rest of it pays the salary of the doctor who will fix your small pp
@Hoban Washburne, Taxes are necessary for a functioning society. Sure, we got some corruption up in there, and our tax money gets grabbed at by hands that shouldn't be grabbing at it, but it is needed nonetheless.
@Jascha Heifetz, I like roads too. Too bad California keeps raising registration fees and gas taxes to "pay for roads" and then immediately allocate that money elsewhere.
@RogueKnight, buy electric. No gas = no gas tax.
@TheKen42, i was actually being facetious cuz i thought this comments section was gonna be a tire fire, so if i threw in something ridiculous itd be a bit of a lightning rod. i actually lean fiscally liberal
Not starting a fight but private roads are nicer. People@get less tickets. People get in less accidents.
Than again I’m libertarian so what do I know.
@payton manning, only a matter of time before the state starts adding taxes to electricity. Whether you have an electric car or not.
@Jascha Heifetz, wow, first comment right out of the gate. “bUt wItHoUt gUbMeNt, wHo WiLL BuiLd tHe rOaDs”
@Hoban Washburne, “lean”. Lol. I’ve been down this rowland with you.... you are more liberal than Keynes. All government spending is good! Spend all the money!!
@big freedom, one of the downsides if internet discussions man, its so hard to get to middle ground. somebody swings hard one way and you gotta swing hard the opposite to even out the scale. i opt for more regulation on business because i think when people dont have rules they’ll inevitably screw people with less power than them, but i sure as shjt dont like or trust the government. either way is a tire fire, i just think more regulation over the folks with all the power is the lesser of 2 very evil evils. and yeah 😂 i know you fundamentally disagree
@big freedom, i actually really liked buttegeig before he dropped out. a refreshing voice of sanity and moderation. i really liked his ‘medicare for all that want it’ idea. real reminiscent of the british NHS
@big freedom, also the fvck does “more liver than keynes” mean? i stared at that for like 2 solid minutes
@Hoban Washburne, auto-corrected. I meant more liberal than Keynes.
Keynesian economics theory is that all money spent by government is good spending. (Boiled down to absurd essence)
@big freedom, gotcha gotcha. ive heard the term keynesian before but havent looked too far into it
@Audiodacity, holy shjt you fvcking killed him dude!
You’re not entitled to anyone else’s labor. Healthcare isn’t free.
Jokes on you that's also what my job does
