@Frankito, to be honest, i know it was nin's song first but I just count it as they are the ones who did a cover of johny cashes song. Not the real way around.
@The Phoenix King, His version is superior. The NIN version is good, but Cash's version has more feeling to it. It stirs up more emotions and that music video just enhances it.
Blank Space by Our Last Night, Holy Diver by Killswitch Engage, Still Fly by The Devil Wears Prada, New Again by Yuna. But that's my opinion, I like this type of music.
In my opinion, "Sound of Silence." I know many prefer the original, but I prefer the cover.
Furthermore, many songs we know and love are actually covers without us even knowing it.
I know this will be an unpopular one, but I truly prefer Radiohead's cover of Wish You Were Here. Also, Arctic Monkeys' cover of Red Right Hand is pretty good.
@boardinsocal, oh, and I'll add 'You'll Never Leave Harlan Alive' by the Ruby Friedman Orchestra, and The Boxer by Jerry Douglas (feat. Mumford & Sons)
All along the watchtower by Jimi Hendrix
