And yet somehow it’ll still be on fire.
As a Californian, let me just say, give us a chance to get the dogs out first.
@SimonPetrikov, Bwaha! I escaped years ago with my cat! Almost eight years ago now... fvck I want to go back.
Fvck you and your kale diets
@Beggar Mugger, damnit i wish i could upvote twice T-T That actually made me chuckle
@Beggar Mugger, I’m from California and only rich white people do this, we still prefer cheeseburgers
@megamanx181x, I’m from California and I work with the agriculture crews that harvest kale. No one hates this shjt more than us.
@Zerker Shark, this makes too much sense, wipe your ass with it please
@megamanx181x, *headline tomorrow* E.coli Breakout In California, Kale Blamed
@KittyVonClaude, there’s caca on the kale!!!!
@KittyVonClaude, it already happened to romaine. But that was out of the imperial valley area. What I’m trying to say is it wasn’t us.
*Professor Hulk meme*
I see this as an absolute win!
Alright, i get promoted to beach front property
Guys if you do that then I might not be able to keep commenting
@megamanx181x, good, less competition for top commenter.
@Vozzici, do people still care about that?
@Dephenistrator, not sure
@Vozzici, ha! I’m getting scuba gear and a raft then!
@megamanx181x, I moved out of that communist hell hole. You can too!
@big freedom, I don’t find it communist, I’m ok with it.
@megamanx181x, free healthcare for illegals and the highest gas tax in the nation, crippling unfunded pension debt. The SF and LA bum explosion where they spend billions on housing for the homeless to house 500 people and get more homeless in the process... I could go on. It’s a 1 party ruled hellhole.
@big freedom, I think some of that is half true and the other half is somewhat skewed but I live in Whittier and I like it here. To each its own, but I think communism is such an exaggerated term.
@megamanx181x, it means different things to different people. To me it always means taking from someone to give to someone else, and tyranny of the minority.
CA is extreme on the end of one party rule. It’s so unfriendly to business and individual liberty.
The Bûllshît train in CA is perfect example of how backwards CA is. The technology of the 1800’s coming to you toda... sometime in the next 50 years at the cost of $100B minimum.
@big freedom, gotta start somewhere, we can vote out people anytime and I don’t think the mayor of Los Angeles is going to get a second chance. Tyranny/communism are very extreme words that I believe an individual as yourself is a lot smarter in using labels like that for something you don’t agree with. I can understand the usual response of being too liberal (which the people continue to vote for in every election) but I get it your angry. You’re going to pay taxes for a lot of things that they will never tell you the truth where it goes to and we can change some of those through the measures we have. Im comfortable where I am and I just think it’s petty to keep raging on States that are no where near as bad as some other places. Were never going to pretend long enough to care about each as a nation if all we continue to do is nit pick at each other. However all I can say to you is I hope you are happy and stable way of life.
@big freedom, if our congress can work it's way out of the rubble it buries itself under and got a high speed, safe train going in CA we'd be stoked and the tech would soon go to places like Texas. Honestly TX is better suited for high speed rail than CA is as it's flat, and open between large cultural hubs. Instead of a 3 hour drive from one to the next, it could* be a 20 minute train ride for less than the cost of gas. Having a fast link between business hubs is great for those who'd like to spend less time travelling and more time getting work done. One could even conceivably commute on such a train.
@mas2de, I agree TX would be better than CA. Hyperloop would still be better. I just don’t see train really working anywhere other than east coast.
Hey, no skin off my nose. Bye bye LA, your city has shjtty air and shjtty traffic. Oh, and bye OC, you friggin expensive, overpriced lamesville.
A SoCal native
BUT WHAT ABOUT DISNEYLAND!?
@xxbelladogexx, the real reason it needs to be saved
*grabs flamethrower "So when do we get started already?"
@Dephenistrator, *loads napalm bombs* give the order!
@Dephenistrator, *holds baby cow and can of beans*
"are we doing this or what?"
@That one lurker, Gimlee's excited voice: "YESSSS!"
Then they’ll come to the rest of the states and ruin them also
@Osama bin Dead, *cries in Colorado*
@Hatori, I’m not from CA, but I lived there and recently moved to CO. I promise I don’t bring CA ideology with me
@Osama bin Dead, they're doing that to Texas right now :/
@Tsaltydog, I’m so sorry
I'm from California and I beg all of you, from the bottom of my heart and with every fiber of my being...
Buy a big diesel truck and drive the sh!t out of it!
What they don't show you is the thousands of miles that is the valley. Keep digging your own graves LA. I can't wait for my beachfront property
If California sinks then all the libtards will move somewhere else and make it bad atleast for now its contained to one place
They’d just build fjords probably. Then we can watch LA both flood and catch on fire in the span of a few months from spring to summer
Might as well sink Alabama too with how much federal funding they get while CA pays for it
@ReverseGiraffe, California is a sinkhole of debt
@ReverseGiraffe, it’s weird how people hate on California, but they fund most of the states that complain about them the most...
@A Blunt Object, shhh, no facts here!
@Dephenistrator, yes. All the debt within the US gets sunk by California who pays for the crap then gets blamed for half the garbage of the other states. We also provide for for a large percentage of the world not to mention the rest of the US. Not too much corn and wheat here though. That's all the Midwest. California has been declining as a net positive state but as it stands CA still pays millions and millions more than it takes from the federal gov't and helps pay for a bunch of negative states like the South.
I’m fine with it.
Scuba would be awesome though
If they get flooded, they’ll invade the rest of the country, hell to the no.
Why do you want California underwater? They're just gonna move east and bring their trends with them.
Learn to swim learn to swim
Why is everyone so against california, there are many other US states we should flood first
I am confused. Icebergs? Aren't they already displacing water in the Oceans? Don't they mean ice caps?
But my punk rock...
Looks like Michael J. Fox
