@Cynical Pancakes, I dont get that....people dont want Jill Stein because shes anti-vax so they immediately dismiss her. Trump and Clinton will start WW3 and Johnson dosnt even read the news or look at a globe. I think Id be ok with a president who didnt like vaccinations over that. Then in four years check our options again while the country is still intact. My opinion though.

@theantigrammarnazi, I'm voting for Trump, because I really do think he is better than Hillary. Not that he'll necessarily make a good President, but good God please not Hillary. All of Trumps more radical stuff would never even make it through Congress, and the stuff that would make it through like economic policies would be effective.
-
@Cynical Pancakes, If you're talking about his Aleppo slip-up he came out and addressed that. On top of that, he didn't do the political back step like more than 99% of politicians would've done and just said that he misspoke or some other bs answer. He flat out said he was overtired from campaigning nonstop like he had been doing and when he was asked about Aleppo he essentially had a brain fart and thought the guy was referring to an acronym that he couldn't piece together. He THEN unequivocally said it was his own fault, that of course he knew about Syria and Aleppo, and that he was going to try even harder and take it as a learning experience. THAT is someone I can get behind because he isn't just the normal political robot we always seem to get.

As a non-American these feel really weird, we get a lot of Trump pics because what he says and does is actually funny (although mostly in a oh-my-god-he-actually-said-that kind of way). Hillary straight up isn't as conventionally humorous, so there's less funny content, and these pics seem either really forced or really politically charged when compared to the average Trump pic. They might be funnier to someone who supports Hillary and that's fair enough however.

@CounterPunSniper, again not just as bad.... much much worse. She stole billions of dollars meant for the Haitian earthquake relief, she is about the definition of a corrupt politician, as least Trump isn't George Soros' puppet, but yeah he's a lying scumbag too, but seriously you're comparing the Major Leagues to Pony League.
-
@SchroedingerPussPuss, I didn't say the Bush administration was any better. Also I know that the president is mostly a figurehead but that's the only person people seem to think matters But I agree completely, it's all about our house and Senate being in favor of who you want as president if you truly want to get things done
-
@I Are Lebo, Donald trump isn't a psychopath for one. And it's considered a wasted vote because our media doesn't allow them to get anywhere, I'm a fan of Gary Johnson and I hate that our system is the way it is, but like most things in America it will take a while for us to catch up, I'm talking about social norms.
-
@SchroedingerPussPuss, not really. Congress used to be important, now they're irrelevant. Obama has accomplishment most of his stuff via executive orders and using the 4th arm of govermenr, the beuracratic agencies the executive controls. The president and supreme court has become far too powerful, while the congress has become a joke.
-
@CynicalSir, it does, in your state. But if you don't use the electoral, low population states could be become completely irrelevant by a couple mega cities in the bigger states. A president's policies have a significamt impact on states, why would states like oklahoma, the dakotas, etc., be part of a union in which they wouldnt have any real say because the voters in los angeles alone could out vote them?
-
@CynicalSir, where you live has a major impact on your politics. Theres a reason places like california is massively and historically democrat and texas republican. It also doesnt matter, its not about the parties, its about the state. The states elect the president, and the people choose how the states vote. So again, why should a state stay in the union if they would be outvoted by a city?

*Im sorry* I see so many things about Hillary bashing her for being as bad as Satan, but its so frustrating. Sure, she has mistakes. Yes, she should have handled some things better, but if people actually looked at her track record, there is way more good than bad. She has helped hundreds of thousands of people, and no one looks at it. It just is all arrgghh.. Trump on the other hand.. bought a house with the argument the old owner was discriminatory.. He doesnt pay people who work for him, he has the most lies out of any political candidate, flips on everything, and has the temper of a 4 year old.. I just dont get it..

@Oujosh29, I dont mean her foundation which has helped send out half of the worlds AIDS drugs. I mean like when she went 'undercover' in a school system to try and work out their segregation problem towards kids in 1972. Or when she made sure to help give healthcare to first responders on 9/11 and people harmed in the attack. Or when she spoke in China for equal human rights, which at the time, could have easily had her convicted or killed. Or when she set out a plan to used 1 billion to help feed starving children in Africa. Or when she helped get health insurance to poor children in the USA. There are plenty more, but you seem smart enough to go look them up yourself. 😄
-
@DameonKingDemon, how about when she threatened and paid off Bills Rape VICTIMS? How about when her lack of response got people KILLED in Benghazi? How about all the people who were once affiliated with her campaign who have VANISHED? Really? I won't say Trump is perfect, because he's far from it, but there's nothing coming out about him allowing people to die(or playing a part in their deaths). So he said some mean things- how many people had to pause their PornHub to listen him talk about grabbing a woman's vagina?
-
@Chintastic, My curiosity is, if Hillary is such a criminal, if she has truly has done everything people have accused her of, why osmt she in prison? Not even the pope would be able to get away if he has had as many investigations as Hillary has. And Trump is a monster. A judge passed an order to move forwards in a case against Trump, as it has come to light that he possibly assaulted a 13 year old. And "grabbing a vagina" is assault in and of itsself. Trump has boasted about assaulting women. He is a monster and a possible rapist. Hillary is a basic politician. She lies sometimes, but she tells the truth most of the time. https://www.google.com/amp/fusion.net/story/328522/donald-trump-accused-rape-sexual-assault/amp/

@JJD2016, bad yes, equal no. Hillary made a huge mistake she tried to cover it up. Her actions are absolutely corrupt, but I'm not sure it makes her a corrupt person. I like to believe that she does have the American peoples best interest at heart. Trump on the other hand is a hateful bigoted person who uses extremes to get attention. His views are narrow and extreme and ignore a majority of the population. His campaign is based off of our fears and irrational thoughts.
-
Of what crime was she convicted? Seems like people have forgotten how the law works... specifically the must be tried and convicted in court by a jury and until then is to be presumed innocent... but I guess you all know more than senate inquiries and the FBI... you guys should make some special detective agency, you'd make millions, you know, because your better than those bodies at finding proof and returning a guilty verdict. So good in fact you don't even need the courts.
-
@TheMonkeyGod, there is this problem with a party in power choosing not to prosecute a party favorite. You realize people have been and are being prosecuted for less than what Hillary has done? Also she is trying to put Bill back where his crimes happened - actions for which other business leaders lost their jobs and careers! Not being prosecuted does not equal innocence it equals corruption...it should be Bernie on the ballot, not someone above the law.
-
@Sweet or Sour, I agree it should have been Bernie, no arguments. But even the republicans cleared her of wrong doing. People need to let it go. And under law, no prosecution does mean innocence, that's how it works. There may be corruption, but that is another breach of law for another time. To repeat this ad nauseum is pointless.
Whooo boy, radar shows we've got a category 5 flame war brewing up in these comments. Looks like the most dangerous type too, classification "Political"! Current recommendation for those wishing to retain their sanity: Do not engage. Repeat: DO. NOT. ENGAGE.
