That’s dark! I love it!
AMERICA FÜCK YEAH !!!! BACK TO BACK CITY DESTROYERS AND WORLD WAR CHAMP !!!!!!! Merca MURCA
Was FatBoy the one dropped on Nagasaki or was it the other one?
@Beggar Mugger, little boy was dropped on Hiroshima. Fat man was dropped on Nagasaki.
@Beggar Mugger, Fat Man was Hiroshima, Little Boy was Nagasaki.
@I Are Lebo, that Hitler's a little too close to home
@I Are Lebo, does it really matter lol but on a side note I like how some Americans argue that if we knew how bad it woulda been then we wouldn’t have done it... even if u don’t talk about the fact that they tested it and knew the devastation it could cause what about after they dropped the first one were they thinking well maybe the second one won’t be as bad
@bobbylupo, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing. Those bombs weren’t dropped to win WW2. They were dropped to win the world AFTER WW2. And it succeeded.
Remember two things. First, Nagasaki was the sixth Japanese city to be annihilated by America. Four cities were carpet bombed before any nukes were deployed. Secondly, the Japanese didn’t surrender because of the nukes, they surrendered because of the imminent soviet invasion. The war minister of Japan publicly stated after Hiroshima that he saw no difference between a hundred planes carrying a hundred bombs and one plane carrying one massive bomb.
The nuking of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were war crimes, plain and simple. Americans arguing otherwise have bought into propaganda.
@I Are Lebo, it’s only a war crime if u lose the founding fathers were some of the biggest traitors to the crown since William Wallace and Robert the Bruce but since they won the revolutionary war they’re heros and patriots and our founding fathers
@bobbylupo, that doesn’t logically follow. It’s not a war crime to wage war. A secessionist can be argued to be a traitor, depending on the point of view, in much the same way that the only difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist is perspective, but none of that equates to war crime.
Winning and losing sides are both capable of war crimes. During WW2 especially, war crimes were committed by pretty much all sides.
@I Are Lebo, I can see how u read it that way but that’s not how I meant it what I meant was that usually u only get in trouble for war crimes when u lose the war but if u win u usually don’t get punished and the whole thing about the founding fathers was more like an example of how it’s all about the point of view not necessarily related to the war crimes thing
@bobbylupo, fair enough, but whether or not something is a war crime isn’t dictated by the perpetrators. Whether or not they face any justice is a separate issue. When American soldiers go into an innocent village during a campaign and rape any girls they find there (which happened many times in Korea, Afghanistan, Iraq, etc) it’s every bit as much a war crime as when Russian or Syrian troops do the same.
There have been American soldiers tried for war crimes in wars that the USA won. It’s not common, but it happens.
@I Are Lebo, hey that’s not true I was in Iraq and Afghanistan and we didn’t rape any of the girls we found... we raped all of them
My wife says that a local sushi place has a sushi roll called the Nagasaki. I told her that it would be tasteless and inappropriate to serve customers a plate of irradiated ash.
This is why I have to buy Chinese parts for my Nagasaki motorcycle
@Polish Bob, at least you don't have to order them while speaking German
Just FYI while the nukes were devastating to both cities the June Census has over 1.5 million people total between the two cities. Both cities have recovered and continue expand.
Has anyone traveled to the shadow realm just to see the street art?
It's very minimalist to say the least.
Wiped it off the map more like it
Everybody got what they wanted.
