I believe they are referring to those cheap jap cars some teenagers add cheap body kits thinking that makes them cool like the people in fast and furious and/or need for speed. Hence the term "riced out". And yeah, they also like to tilt their wheel (it might be called camber or something) so yeah there's that fvcked up stance
@Out of Context, You da real MVP
@Out of Context, the wheel tilt is also called stance (really vague term btw)
@Out of Context, but don't mix that up with real car enthusiasm where camber makes a difference around the track or drifting , it's no where near as much ( sometimes during low hp drift it can be high )
@kc9pop, oh I thought you really only ever wanted them to be about vertical. Then again track driving is nothing like street/highway so yeah there's that
@Out of Context, 'jap' ? What is this the 1940's?
@Out of Context, so I'll stop here before I kill someone with my knowledge
@Out of Context, well depending on suspension type during compression the tires will angle ( sunsenshion types differ how much but that all do, it's the nature of the beast ) so you would put like 1-3 degrees max depending on tires, track, weather, etc... But for drifting you would put usly above 5 so you could control your wheel spin and drift as needed while having the amount of grip needed to loosen or increase grip, but then I would have to get into suspension tuneing and how difs work etc .....
@Out of Context, nope I take that back it's camber. You were right I'll stfu now lol
@Out of Context, yeah you have camber, caster and toe. This is toe and doing this is pointless, I laugh every time I see it
@kc9pop, nah man I can understand thus much. I am good at theory and physics based aspects of cars, just suck at the practical stuff. Like I assume you mean differentials, which fundamentally have a simple job, just let one wheel spin more/faster than the other on the same axle using some gears. But I don't know much about suspension that is true except that the car floats (kinda, maybe even like hangs from the wheels through the suspension) on it.
@Out of Context, well difs do a lot and depending on witch type it does a lot of things, but if you ever want to get into cars or a car game. Look up automation, it's a in development game but I'd pay the $30 Just for the tutorials it can teach you a lot, + I play FORZA a lot and like to tune so that also helps
@balzac, no toe is not pointless ESP if you drift or race, for a understating car a degre of outward toe can make it turn much better and control better under skidding, while negative ( inward ) can reduce over steer and make a car handle much better, while not vey useful for the daily driver but every thing else it's a way of life
@kc9pop, understeer *
@kc9pop, yeah I can understand if you're on a track but when I see them go by my house I think... pointless, have fun going through tires weekly
@balzac, learn then speak young one * pats head * ;)
@kc9pop, young one? I'm 30 bro I just don't do alignments
@balzac, it's not that much ware but more like every 6 months and not a year
@balzac, that was a jokeXD but there is no excuse for ignorance any more because of the internet, even I myself have done this before and then learned my mistake after. Although in my op all car owners should know at least some part of what i said
@kc9pop, the sad thing is I'm a mechanic and shop owner. Don't tell anyone lol.
@balzac, XXXXXDDDDDD YOU.... You made me spit out my drink! You REALLY need to know this. It only takes about 30 min to understand the basics
@balzac, that's ok it happens the the best of us! :p
@kc9pop, lol I'll get there, not doing them currently but I felt stupid as FVCK so I corrected myself lol
@kc9pop, I'm an automotive electrical and computer specialist that's why I hire people lol
@balzac, I myself know more tuning than turning a wrench soo we all have our down falls. Then I'm only 15 1/2 in April so
@balzac, ahhh, cool I eventually want to work with cars. Don't know what yet but a bit of every thing would be nice, either that or planes. I'm going for a degree in Mec eng so really I could do almost anything
@kc9pop, trust me learn electronic systems either way, everything these days is fly-by-wire
@balzac, meh I would but it's more of a hobby of mine any way + I want to make things , go fast, fly ,or go bang so this is a much better degree for me.
@balzac, and I want to become a military pilot if not a test pilot
@kc9pop, send me an email karbonkustomz gmail.
@balzac, just did
@Out of Context, you shouldn't sell yourself short. You ate surprisingly in context right now and you should be proud of it.
@kc9pop, cool that's what I wanted to be (glasses killed that plan). But now I want to do what's called aerospace propulsion maintenance aka a motor monkey for jet aircraft.
@Out of Context, camber looks good just not like that.... fart cans are gross
@Cliche Super Hero , that is not what riced out or ricer means
All I see is a busted lawnmower... What am I supposed to be seeing?
SO MUCH YES.
Is this english?
@Dave the barbarian, yes
A "Riced out turd" is a hideously customized car that is not faster nor cooler than when they first bought it and is plain dumb. It saddens me to see what some people do to their cars/trucks/motorcycles. :(
(Sorry for the long post)
@KillaKoala, lowered trucks * shudders * and thier not even for drag *twitch twitch*
It's disappointing to see people hate cars so much. Why can't you respect both imports and classics for the work that people put into them?
@Colorado, I will admit when their wheels are stanced I feel it's hurting the cars ability to drive so I don't get that.
This is extremely racist
There's a difference between hooning and being a ricer... btw keep the car pics comin... love these
Is it vtec, don't forget to add the hair dryer (turbo) and stickers for extra horsepower, o n don't forget the wing the size of another Honda
@atrueballa89, every sticker is 5 hp you know and it's 10 hp if it obstructs your view on windshield
Nissan skyline best car ever, and its japanese soooo yea. R34 not r35 (also nice)
@opwnus prime, japanese cars are a big part of it, but not all japanese cars are bad Datsun 240z, Honda NSX, Toyota 2000GT to name a few and this is comes from a big American muscle car lover.
Dealers be like... Used once good quality. $10,000
@LightSaber, and 1000 percent safe. *Not guaranteed tho.* fine print
*squints* stance having turds?
@notthatkindofdyke, alignment slightly off, better for handling
Maybe shouldn't call cars "riced out" since that's super racist.
Well I have a 94 Honda Civic stock body I like to keep it looking clean and with class not bulky and ugly. The real work is under the hood with performance parts and engine swaps.
My car sounds like this all the time because my exhaust rattles around now. Now everyone thinks I want to race :(
So I bought a straight piped powerstroke last night...
I hate stancing so much, it ruins the cars look and handling and the the tires last like a quarter of the time.
@Nocturnus, depends on what stancing is to you.
I personally like alot of it.not all.
But waiting for parts for my lexus gs300.
I think this is about cars, but I really have no idea
