@No Sjit, the problem is plenty of player didn't enjoy it. Based on what I read, it was especially an issue with the increasing number of players who speak little or no English. They were forced to do it as part of a hazing ritual thing and while a larger number of American players had some degree of acceptance (though not all liked it) getting international players to do it ended particularly badly either because the player fought those who tried to make him or because of the extreme measure players would take to get the player to do it.

Maybe think of it this way. When somebody wants to tease or ridicule another for fun what if they made females dress as males? Like somehow being a man is a bad thing. I get irritated when people equate something weak to being female. Like calling a wimpy guy a sissy or a girl. Trust me. I'll kick some ass when if i need to. I can be girly, but im not a weak ass pushover.

@Michael Fassbender, Its an outlet for sociopaths and hot heads to feel morally obligated to abuse others. People knew that since fvckin breakfast club, man. Everybody has a mom or dad to go home to and explain they got their asscheeks glued together/objects shoved up their ass/beaten by the rest of the team/etc. Nobody deserves to have to go home and say that.
I don't understand how something that, for the most part, the players enjoy doing is ok to ban? If I was in the MLB I'd simply say you wanted to...that solves all the problems right there and you still get to have fun with it
