I saw this pictured hanged on my band teachers door
So who here is in high school marching band?
@SimplePlanFan54, I was in it for 4 years and I did one of college band and now I'm marching drum corp this summer
@SimplePlanFan54, Symphonic orchestra. Does that count?
@SimplePlanFan54, I am! I hope to play snare this year. :)
@SimplePlanFan54, Sophomore in high school. First trumpet all the way.
@Stuckpixel Sucks, what corp?
@darth piggy, I'm marching snare at Jersey Surf
@Stuckpixel Sucks, cool!! My dad likes jersey surf
@darth piggy, well I appreciate the support! But I hope my last year of DCI I can march Blue Devils.
@Stuckpixel Sucks, well good luck!! Im a woodwind so I cant march lol. Im a "phan"
@darth piggy, you could always learn a brass instrument. Surf is willing to teach if people are willing to learn.
@Stuckpixel Sucks, I know, I just dont want to march, I had fun in band thats about it lol
@SimplePlanFan54, Band is love. Band is life.
@SimplePlanFan54, I was in high school marching band for 4 years and concert for 1. We also have a jazz band and indoor percussion at my school.
@SimplePlanFan54, we had this discussion already
@SimplePlanFan54, I played baritone in the marching band.
Alto saxophone for the win!
@Special Kdubs, Bari sax all the way :p
@Special Kdubs, Nah brah, it's all about that trumpet/French horn life!
@Special Kdubs, tenor sax b!tch
@Special Kdubs, Whoo! Something I can relate to!
@Special Kdubs, I played alto for two years in high school...I was drum major the other two years ;)
@Special Kdubs, mainly because i play alto too!
@RebelWithoutaCause, fck yeah tenors ftw!
@Special Kdubs, you spelled tuba wrong
@Assassin1812, yuuuh, reppin the Baris!
@Assassin1812, that's right. Real saxophonists march with a freakin Bari!
@Zhoom, Yeah, only French Hornist in the band!
I demand more Tone Deaf Comics on here!
As a former oboist, I can completely confirm the reaction.
It is safe to say that a percussionist made this post
@Original username, hey, how did you know?
@Original username, you know that's right
I was a fat tuba player and can confirm the stereotype
As a tuba/sousaphone player the tubists react with much more snark than a simple joke.
@YangXiaoLong, from experience also I agree
As an oboist, this is completely true.
I am a euphoniumist and can correctly say that that is false
@The Mexicutioner, agreed. Our responses should be more like "oh you could tell we were playing?" Or "hey that was probably the trombones messing up, not us"
@TheMemeTeacher, I agree
Here's a pick up line for you trombone players. Is it just me or did you extend my trombone to the 7th position?
@ Sam da ram, because I am a trumpet player and I am always right xD
I play clarinet and that is so true...but actually it's my Reed not me...
Kinda freaky how accurate this is..
Trumpeter here, can confirm the stereotype is 100% accurate
Sax for lyfe
@SimplePlanFan54, I was, but now I'm a junior in college at a college that doesn't have a marching band. I loved being in the marching band. And I ended up being a drum major
Pfft who here is in high school orchestra..
@Elder, I play cello and bass guitar
Surprisingly true. Especially percussion. Bam.
As a tuba player I can confirm. Only I'm not fat.
Viva la orchestra
Band people I know. -_-
French horn for the win :3
YES! FINNALY A MUSIC FUNNYPIC WITH EUPHONIUM INCLUDED. MY LIFE IS COMPLETE!
PS I have a friend who plays sax and he looks nothing like that. I also have friends who play a tuba, trumpet, trombone, clarinet, percussion, French horn, and fellow Euphoniums
I play Euphonium and I'm proud to say I have no private teachet
Ummm...why is hi res upside down?
I was confused by flutist until I realized it was supposed to be flautist. I'm going to hazard a guess that whoever made this was not in a band class or was forced into one as a small child.
Can't relate, Theatre kid...

I can assure you all the tuba players have the most fun
Our schools band in a nut shell. All the way down to the Tubists!
I played trombone as a kid. Also worth mentioning I was the smallest kid in class, so the trombone was almost the same size as me...
As a flutists have to this it's kinda accurate
This is so true....
Okay seriously, the trombonist should have said in reaction to every feedback (which is often to just play softer), "so what you're saying is, we need to play louder?"
I played trombone, tuba and euphonium.. Those are like the three most awkward frames above :(
Our percussion section was so ahead of the band teacher, he just gave us the music and left us alone...
I'm too busy trying to spot the difference between these animated peoples faces to try yo find the funniness in this joke
Nah trumpet players are the cockiest, doncha know.
