Actually it's the only way to "burn" the calories but I take it they meant convert the calories to energy there by either using the recently consumed calories or using stored calories
@k1ngs4ndm4n, I read that morticians have to be careful of very large people in cremation situations. They have to burn at a very low temp because the fat in the body can literally cause a grease fire and explode cremation devices.!
As a fat guy I can confirm, it's a great way to burn calories.
