This...I love this.
@RhettandLink, until you give it to someone with diabetes and they start crying
@RhettandLink, I would never eat anything given to me by a stranger though.
@Sw1per, Two kinda of people
@RhettandLink, you... I love you...
Oh god.. too soon TOO SOON!.. quick.. say something nonchalant that'll make it look like you were just joking
Where do you live??
OH GOD OH GOD WHYYY BRAIN
@Murphlins, that was perfection
Everyone needs a little encouragement sometimes.
My husband just got out of the hospital after nearly a week in. He is going to have a long time before he feels somewhat back to normal. I could use all the encouragement I can get.
@WaterLilies1919, semi sweet*
@WaterLilies1919, positive vibes/prayers your way! Hope he heals up quickly and as easily as possible. Also, take care of yourself. It can be easy to focus on someone else in need, but self help/love is important too.
@madeyoulook2, thank you. The hardest part is we also have three children, ages six and under. It has been very hard keeping up with everything going on for them, keeping the house semi clean, and making sure my husband is doing alright. It is beyond exhausting! Those that have to nurse a loved one through cancer, etc, I truly admire. I am also incredibly thankful for family close by to help. Our biggest concern is money, as he is the money maker of the family. I help supplement, but not nearly enough, and I've been off a lot lately with him hospitalized. Sorry for the wall of text. It just feels good to get this off my chest.
@WaterLilies1919, well, I hope you lean on your support available. It can be hard to do so, but sometimes it is needed. Again, hope it all works out! Sharing is healthy, no need to apologize.
It's interesting how at first they're confused, and maybe a little apprehensive, but once they read the note it's just like *smile*. But the fact a stranger randomly gave you chocolate doesn't change. Would it make a difference if the note said anything else or even no note? What if the note said "DEATH TO ALL HUMANS"? Would they still smile and accept the chocolate?
Hm... BRB I wanta try something.
@GiantDwarf01, Result - Giving someone chocolate does indeed depend on the note. "Death to all humans" resulted in 3 afraid looks, 2 thrown away chocolates, and one call to the cops.
"Lemme see yo booty" resulted in 3 face slaps, another call to the cops, and one girlfriend.
@GiantDwarf01, I'd say $1000 in fines (first one for harassment, second for sexual misconduct) and near infinite amounts of ass is worth it.
@GiantDwarf01, I like your style
And then there's me, who is currently almost incapable of any emotion other than fear and panic.
@Scott Sterling, have you tried other feelings?
@Gilman22, Does depression count?
@Scott Sterling, technically speaking yes, but have you tried any of the positive emotions, like joy or peace or one of my personal favorites, just feeling okay with life?
@Gilman22, Yeah, I did try those. They didn't work. Well, except for peace. I feel at peace every night while I'm sleeping.
@Scott Sterling, can you explain "They didn't work" more?
@Gilman22, As in every time I felt like things might be going okay, my anxiety rolls up with a sledgehammer like "'Sup, fvcker!"
@Scott Sterling, anxiety about what?
@Gilman22, School. A career. The future. Real life in general.
@Scott Sterling, that actually is pretty scary stuff. I believe that it's pretty normal for you to feel that way. I'm pretty confident that most people feel anxiety about those big life events. Though I will also say that once you face those anxieties it doesn't seem as scary and helps build confidence in taking on big life events. Though for some of us, I'm mostly talking about myself, it makes things much easier having someone special to go through those events with you.
@Gilman22, Yeah, except I don't. My gf and I broke up months ago, and the only other person who understands me lives in North England while I'm stuck in North Carolina.
@Scott Sterling, who is that other person?
@Gilman22, A boy I've been talking to on Skype for a while. Really kind.
@Scott Sterling, how did you meet him?
@Gilman22, Through DeviantArt.
@Scott Sterling, how had you met you ex gf?
@Gilman22, We were in high school together.
@Scott Sterling, how long did you guys date?
@Gilman22, Nearly 5 years.
@Scott Sterling, did you guys brake up because of one of you being in college?
@Gilman22, Yep. The one in this case is me.
@Scott Sterling, so you broke up with her?
@Gilman22, Actually, it was mutual. No lasting damage for either of us.
@Scott Sterling, do you have a job or are you only taking classes?
@Gilman22, I applied for a job at a Walmart near campus. I haven't heard back yet, though.
"I have a boyfriend" *gets candy bar thrown back in my fvcking face*
I wouldn't mind, but I've been to the states and hershey bars taste like sick, sorry USA
Just wait till a Femi-nazi gets ahold of one of these. . . "GAH mysogynist pigs trying to hit on me without knowing me". "Patriarchy makes me sick".
The mans face melted my heart 😌
Screw happy, there's work to do. You can be happy when your dead, I know we all will be.
...unless you touch kids. Then you can be happy behind bars.
Who down voted this? Not angry, just curious why
They cut out the part where I threw the note away without looking and just choked down on the chocolate
More of these please
Smile. You deserve to be happy.*
Except that Hershey's is pleb chocolate, made with the bare minimum of what could be considered chocolate... or milk for that matter.
Things like this restore my faith in humanity. And it gives me the happy feels on the inside
It's making me feel something... what is this strange feeling? Is it... happiness for others? I've never felt that before
@WickedStyx, it's a strange phenomenon that happens when we a person witnesses true happiness
