@InsaneWorm, if I remember correctly, Deadpool did put on the Venom symbionte before Peter. And that’s the reason why the symbiote started corrupting Spidy. For those of you who don’t know, the symbiote race are actually good guys. However, when they come in contact with someone who’s messed up or evil, that symbiote becomes corrupted

@InsaneWorm, it is cannon that deadpool "broke" venom to have it even try to bond with spidey. "Deadpools Secret Secret Wars" a very good read.

Honestly I don’t think the mask will affect him Deadpool is already insane, causes carnage wherever he goes, and with his regeneration and magic satchel has cartoonish powers the mask can be selective as it didn’t work for walter it seems to crave those with deep darkness bottled up inside so that it can shake said bottle and add the the mentos that is insanity the more hidden darkness you have the more creative and violent you’ll be with your carnage when you put on the mask
