The Astros cheated by using a camera to steal signs and then bang on a trash can to notify the batter when a change up was coming
Is this what it feels like to get old and out of touch ? I have no idea what any of this means
@Mhael, it’s sports related. Apparently the Astros were stealing signs then banging on a trash can to signal when a type of pitch (called a changeup) was coming
Yet nothing has been proven, and banging on trash cans is not illegal. The only thing that’s illegal is using “electronics” to gain an edge. And even then, in 2017, it was legal to use the cameras on a delay. I’m a Astros fan all the way, and if they are proven to use cameras to watch a live feed and cheat, then I’ll definitely be upset and agree that they need to be punished. But as of right now, there is no concrete evidence that they cheated electronically. And if they cheated at home all the time, why did they have a better away record? If they were cheating at home, they didn’t do a very good job
@YouThisReadWrong, I feel like this should have cleared things up, but now I only more questions.
@YouThisReadWrong, it’s illegal to have the cameras pointing where the catcher’s signs are visible. And the delay is supposed to be until after the pitch happens. I’m an Astros fan all the way too, but they most likely were cheating in some way, but based on the stats, it didn’t actually help us much at all.
So what does that say about her?
