Sexy H. You know we love you, but stop starting these flame wars. It is really drawing out the basement dwellers.
@ThePandaPool , if you have to insult people for having a differnt opinion than yourself... chances are your opinion is very weak...
@phalcon , I never said which side I was talking about.
@ThePandaPool , The Cave dwellers…if you catch my drift.
@ThePandaPool , I’m actually surprised Stuckpixel even let these get posted in uncut
@Sexy Homunculus, I don’t think there’s anyone checking any more. Can someone make a burner account and try and upload something that we know isn’t allowed? Like someone naked.
@Sexy Homunculus, I think its more about the nsfw side of stuff that gets caught
I feel that this process is done by a human and they are heavily understaffed
@Catman649, I've tried to upload some political memes that were actually funny. At least to me. And they got blocked.
@AceWolf456, that happened a few years ago, I’ll see if I can find the content id
@phalcon , if you get offended or have to chime in on an unbiased opinion, you might be a Karen
I find it funny when people insist government is the best tool to solve public problems but simultaneously condemn “big business” as evil. I can’t see any difference between the two beyond the fact that one of them nominally produces something valuable.
@Hot Coffee, And the people choose who’s in charge of one.
@Hot Coffee, the point of government isn't too turn a profit
@daweim0, you'd think.
@MrTuxPenguin, hahaha! You really think that? Oh well. This will be one of those where you call me a conspiracy theorist while ignoring all the screwy behavior surrounding the audits. One day you’ll recognize that the *corporate* media that forms your opinion for you is just the unofficial propaganda arm for both the Democrats, neocon repubs and Corporations.
Just do me a favor and look up the political affiliations of Pulitzer Prize winners.
Sure there still real journalists out there, but they’re the exception, not the rule.
@daweim0, I know, it’s to prevent them!
@Hot Coffee, Amazing how Right you are. Really. You’re just on the wrong side.
You do realize that literally every piece of conservative information is back rolled by either the Koch brothers, Rupert Murdock and/or Andrew Breitbart? Literally all if it. From Fox News to louder with crowder, to the heritage foundation.
That one not a conspiracy theory.
You are right, there are real journalists out there. You’re just not listening to them.
@MrTuxPenguin, Andrew Breitbart has been dead for 10 years...
@MrTuxPenguin, Hot coffee said all corporate media, FOX is included by that. Crowder is funded by F-ing coffee mugs.
@Hot Coffee,One is supposed to be in charge of making sure everyone’s lives run smoothly and to protect them in case of catastrophe, say war or natural disasters. The other is supposed to make products to help make life slightly less painful. The problem is neither is competent by any definition of the word. The government bows to the whims of large corporations, who should have very little say in how the govt is run. People want the government to be competent and independent making the best decisions possible for the future of the people. However, the government only thinks about the short term gains and losses of their wallets. Thus letting major world issues like civil rights and global warming get tied up in bureaucracy so they don’t have to do any real work. The system continues despite its obvious and unforgivable flaws because humans are inclined to trust authority and few seem to have independent thoughts letting themselves be guided by whims of whichever group they’re part of.
@eleven, With that philosophy they condemn the opposition instead of listening to see if maybe, just maybe the other side has some good ideas. It’s because coming to a compromise and working out actual solutions takes a lot of effort and time. The monkey brain decides it’s much easier to say THEY DIFFERENT, THEY BAD. MUST DESTROY!!!! Human nature needs to be purged and replaced with something that’s actually worth saving
@Hot Coffee, Ok, but ask a different question then: is it large corporations who influence government or government who influences large corporations? The first scenario is generally referred to as being corruption, crony capitalism, big money in politics, etc. the second situation seems to not exist because big corporations usually get what they want out of government, or at very least they minimize the costs they have to pay back to society so as to maximize profits. If government and large corporations are one and the same it’s because large corporations are too powerful, not because government is too powerful (usually it’s because government is too weak for that matter).
@eleven, I’d disagree that corporations exist to make products that make life slightly less painful. Corporations exist for one purpose and one purpose only, to make profits. As for how they go about that, it’s entirely whatever is most efficient and profitable, not what helps or hurts society. Example, tobacco companies certainly do not make a product that helps society, yet because of the massive profits the make, they are permitted to continue to wreak havoc on society through their products. Profit is king, not societal benefit when it comes to corporations.
@Hot Coffee, government has to care about social responsibility because of re-elections so all their policies have to, at least on the surface, appear like they are good for the people. In most cases, the easiest way to do this is to actually do something to help people, and most importantly, NOT do something that will harm people. Business care about profit and profit only, with only now a few of them developing certain aspects of business ethics within them. I agree that big business, if run ethically, can help solve major problems. But there are certain things that we have clear examples of absolute failures in the private sector, like prisons.
@Block1187, They’re supposed to make life slightly easier the problem is again, greed. People care far more about their wallets now than the future of the planet. Humanity is a joke and the melting icecaps are the punchline.
@Hot Coffee, true. Even more strange is the idea behind these organizations being “moral” like a corporation will do what it can to maximize assets and minimize liabilities and gov’t institutions just act out the will of the people in ways that they believe will lead them to being re-elected. Nothing sinister just people being people.
@Mag3rPayne, While Crowder’s vibe was DIY, the organized conservative movement quickly saw his utility. National Center, a think tank that promotes “private, free market solutions” to environmental issues, sponsored several early Crowder videos, such as one mocking the U.N. Climate Summit. Liberty Alliance, a conservative Christian publisher, was listed as a sponsor for Crowder’s clips in 2013. (Liberty Alliance was later sold to Liftable Media, a publisher Facebook and Google have blocked for violating its rules.) Crowder has also appeared in videos from PragerU, a non-profit that receives funding from the oil industry.
Video #1 in the Steven Crowder "Louder with Crowder" comedy video series as presented by the National Center for Public Policy Research.
@Mag3rPayne, The National center is a conservative think think and (as shown in the second link) only sponsors Crowder.
The National Center for Policy Analysis (NCPA) is a free market think tank primarily funded by private foundations established by wealthy conservative business families and billionaires, including Charles and David Koch.
The Koch brothers fund Louder with Crowder.
Your honor, I rest my case!
@Block1187, Dr. Shiva has already proven in court that state government election officials have direct portal communications with Twitter. He was suspended on Twitter 17 minutes after he posted email communications with his state senior election official, showing that she had deleted federally required election data. The fact checks ran that he was suspended for claiming she got rid of paper ballots, but that's why they are fvcking snakes, he actually was referring to the ballot images obtained when they run them through the machines.
Imagine if we put this kind of effort into the Patriot act, Operation Northwoods, Wall St. bail outs, or any of the actual erosions of freedom...but ignore all that because masks is where we draw the line...jfc
@TheTrueCorreia, you’re my new favorite
@TheTrueCorreia, It’s about being outraged at something. Not actually fixing anything.
@TheTrueCorreia, we did put that much effort into the Patriot act, hence why it was deemed unconstitutional by the supreme court. They do the fvcked up shjt, get away with it, than we have to fight against our own government that funds itself with our money to prove that they are in the wrong. So in essence the taxpayers have to pay for the prosecution and the defense to bring up a case against their own rulers.
@Mag3rPayne, deem unconstitutional in 2004, expired in 2020, and only through a lack of renew. If people started looking past literally the end of their nose they might not keep getting away with it.
Except that most people didn't follow the rules? Most people were actively disobeying them, to the point that I am almost certain we should have gone for a reverse psychology approach and banned masks and social distancing just to get the morons who feel this way to wear them.
@Aegis, *cough cough* republicans *cough*.
@MrTuxPenguin, which president just had a massive birthday party, among Hollywood revelers, who are majority democrat? You continue to witness your leaders flaunt their own rules, yet you do as they say and not as they do.
@Mag3rPayne, Was It Biden? I’m guess it was. Good job changing the subject though. Can’t take blame so just push it to someone else. Great strategy. Honestly. Keeps you from having to change your views.
If I could party with Hollywood revelers best believe I’m there though. Just throwing that out there.
(Except trump who is one of those Hollywood reveled).
@MrTuxPenguin, it doesn't matter the political party, look at all the leadership of multiple countries, they are having fun, ignoring the recommendations, hurrily putting masks on when they realize they are being filmed.
@Mag3rPayne, Is this another of if I ask you for any proof you say it’s being censored so you can keep saying what you’re saying without any proof?
@MrTuxPenguin, which one specifically, Obama's birthday party?
@MrTuxPenguin, just duckduckgo Obama birthday party leaked photos.
@Mag3rPayne, You know duckduckgo is owned by the right Don’t you?
@MrTuxPenguin, more and more businesses are becoming that way, I wonder why? Maybe because we get censored on Twitter, FB, YT, Reddit, and even have our media sources hidden on Google search results. When we brought it up, initially we were all hit with denialism, then the witty remarks circulated by Tweety birds along the lines of "They are a private company, build your own company if you don't like it." So we have been.
@Mag3rPayne, Do you admit you’re trying information from a biased source.
@MrTuxPenguin, with pictures it doesn't really matter the source does it. Did I tell you a link to click on? No.
@Mag3rPayne, What do you do for a living? What’s your job?
@MrTuxPenguin, I've said on this app many times. I'm a heavy structures sheet metal artisan, I repair and overhaul fighter jets.
@Mag3rPayne, I haven’t read that. That’s pretty cool! Is that through military contracts or something?
@MrTuxPenguin, civil service for the navy. Federal employee.
@Mag3rPayne, Oh so you get all the benefits of working for the government too! That’s good. My brother works on planes, but commercial planes. Couldn’t get a job with the military.
@MrTuxPenguin, yes, I was a commercial contractor for years as well. Used to work for Boeing, but civil service was much more job security. After 3 years it takes an act of Congress to basically remove you for anything not related to drugs, alcohol, sexual harassment, or hate crimes. I was honestly hoping trump's plan to be able to fire gov workers would go through, because we could trim a lot of fat at my site.
I swear these people would do anything if the government told them it would stop covid at this point.
Abortion? Yeah we have to stop that its spreading covid.
Human rights? Nah we need concentration camps to stop the spread you guys.
Human meat repackaging plants? If it saves just one life you guys.
@CocoasBro, with California schools shutdown child suicide has skyrocketed
@Good Pineapple Pizza, that sounds like the symptom to a much larger problem like young people being unable to get out and away from a bad home situation even for a little bit
@Geo1345, it's not just bad homes, it's that the kids aren't socializing, their parents are stuck at home with them, and the zoom classes don't work. the kids are experiencing stunted growth in education and socialization while their parents have no escape and reduced patience. This forced confinement with limited social interaction and very little intellectual developement is a form of psychological torture. Not only do these kids feel physically stuck to one place, but mentally stuck, socially stuck, psychologically stuck, and with them not seeing any end in sight they lose hope.
@Good Pineapple Pizza, not just us either... Canada too
3x incress in suicide attempts in just a 4 month period
@phalcon , ouch. School really is more important than I used to think it was. But I used to think it was unimportant mostly because the government controls what the kids are taught. Homeschooling doesn't really promote social interaction tho. Maybe homeschool pods would be a better answer as the parents get to know what their kids are learning and the kids have a small number of regular students to become close friends with. There could be a lot of advantages to this as it would make it harder for bullies to pick on others and easier for parent teachers to engage one-on-one with students. I've heard a number of these at home pods have popped up in parents home across California.
@Good Pineapple Pizza, yeah socializing is super important especially for young developing minds. I feel opening schools up though will not fully alleviate the problem as some will undoubtably gain severe anxiety about going to class while a pandemic is around. It’s like a bandaid solution in my opinion, there needs to be a greater effort to connect people outside of school and foster a sense of community.
@CocoasBro, Right! It’s like politicians say something with literally no evidence and people believe them?!! Crazy how people just don’t think for themselves.
@Geo1345, yeah with some schools enforcing masks everyone would stay paranoid. Now we're finding out the covid tests have been giving a positive result for the common cold all along. The idea that the anti-American CCP made the virus to collapse western economies and societies and motivational drive doesn't seem so far-fetched now.
@CocoasBro, yeah mask mandates are out of hand its basically concentration camps. I swear people will bjtch about the slightest inconveniences. Just shut the fvck up you little bjtch.
@MrTuxPenguin, And then you have random people saying literally anything and still not giving any evidence and others just jump in and agree with them!
@Good Pineapple Pizza, Fact check: A cold, the flu or a flu shot won't cause positive tests for novel coronavirus
Just gonna…leave this here.
EDIT: I forgot you don’t trust Google. Here’s from DuckDuckGo.
@Sluggernot, nah im more concerned about mandatory vaccines under punishment of being thrown in jail being put on the table and discussed by Leftists.
@CocoasBro, you sound like my dad. He's always concerned with completely unconstitutional fake discussions fox news says it's happening somehow becoming a reality while also claiming republicans are the mass majority and the election was stolen. He also loves anecdotes to prove something that the opposite has been proven by statistics
@Sluggernot, Lmao you really are out of touch here ya go kiddo.
Heres the president of the united states considering mandated vaccines for federal workers
All over the world companies, corporations and goverment agencies are mandating covid-19 vaccinations.
I love how lefties pretend everything is a conspiracy theory even when political leaders of their parties are openly advocating for it LMAO.
@CocoasBro, little lady, I'm well aware of what politicians like to talk about and what they can actually accomplish. You must be new here if you can't figure out which is which https://youtu.be/sav2L2E38XA
@Sluggernot, 1. Bidens already mandated them for federal workers
Holy sh!t is that a link.
2. Did you fvck up that link because it just took me to a cartoon?
Let me ask you if bidens already mandated it for federal workers and corporation and goverment agencies all around the world have already mandated the vaccine to be hired/ continue employment, and buisness are refusing to serve unvaccinated people. Why is it such a stretch to believe the eventrual goal is to makdate the vaccine for everyone?
@CocoasBro, yes the cartoon was about facts and opinions not being the same thing
@Sluggernot, Ok kid so the fact remains. You cannot take a federal job without the vaccine. Multiple corporations around the world are mandating vaccines for employment. Other goverment agencies require vaccinations for employment. Some buisnesses require that you have been vaccinated before serving you. Why is it a crazy conspiracy theory that the end goal is going to be mandated vaccines for everyone?
@CocoasBro, obviously I can't show you the future where this doesn't happen. Just have to wait. But even the marine Corps isn't forcing recruits to get the vaccine. Mind blowing. You know how many vaccines I got in the Corps? Butt load. Then I got a smallpox vaccine on my first deployment. You know how many I got to choose? None because that is stupid. I got them all, mandated. Big whoop. So if the usmc is going to let someone make a choice I'm sure the rest of the public will be allowed the same.
@Sluggernot, The united states marine core hasnt mandated the vaccine YET. Also I dont understand your argument because the military has been overlooked currently therefore we cant look at a trend and draw a logical conclusion from said trend?
@Sluggernot, Why would we assume that they wouldnt continue to mandate the vaccine?
@CocoasBro, your argument against mandating a vaccine in this case is unjustified and quite frankly you being a little baby. As Slugger said, he got plenty of others while in the marines, and he didn’t have a choice.
My work environment as a govt employee mandates one. Already got it.
And here’s the biggest kicker. The reason it’s a crazy conspiracy theory isn’t the mandation, it’s the reasons you’d give why.
@Cloverleaf, Oh look at that the marines have been looking to mandate the vaccine for some time who wouldve guessed. Its almost like its a TREND with multiple political leaders openly pushing for it!
Lmfo kid if your gonna say my argument is unjustfied your gonna have to give a reason for it. Its not just obvious where this is going multiple left wing political leaders have explicitly stated where this is going.
@Sluggernot, Oh look at that bidens ordered the military to start preparing for the mandates who wouldve guessed. Almost like its a trend thats being openly pushed by multiple political leaders.
@CocoasBro, of all the people I fully expect to be ordered to take a vaccine it's the military. That's the point I was trying to make it earlier
@CocoasBro, so let’s see. You’re angry you’re forced to get a vaccine at a job you don’t even have. You’re angry that the government is requiring it’s employees in multiple branches, depts, and agencies to get a vaccine. Or is it just cause it’s now military being considered.
Oh, and really showing your immaturity, dismissing someone’s argument or them pointing a flaw out in yours based on what you assume their age is. My 12 year old cousin can debate a topic better than you, and he’s obsessed with lego video games. For the record, I’m 32.
@Cloverleaf, can we all just follow our leaders, and have giant parties, and only wear our masks when the cameras are on, handshake each other accidentally and have a re-do elbow bump for editing.
@CocoasBro, cloverleaf did give a reason why he thought the argument was unjustified, didn't he? Seems like he was saying that certain jobs have had mandated vaccinations for a long time, and this one is no different.
@Sluggernot, I guess I dont understand your point or how that relates or disprooves mine then. Because your point sounded to me like you were saying because my goverment agency which normally would have gotten the vaccine hasnt mandated it yet that we can assume that they wont and are not trying to mandate it for everyone. Which I countered by prooving that they are in fact trying to mandate it for all branches of the military. They just got caught on some legal issues which in certain they are probablt working on getting through.
So Im just confused what your point is now because expecting to be mandated for a vaccine doesnt counter my point in the slightest if anything it prooves my point.
@Cloverleaf, Ironic that you would say that you would say Im dismissing someones argument as you have yet to address mine, or even read what ive had to say. I clearly responded to his argument and gave a counter point. Its also ironic that you would call me immature as youre the only one on here insulting other people for no reason. When your ready to act like an adult and actrually discuss the issue without throwing ad- hominems around ill be here.
@Mantis Tobaggan, No not really it seems to me that their argument was " The marines/Military in general mandate vaccines regularly so therefore because they have yet to do so clearly theres not a strong intent to mandate this vaccine." Is how I interpreted their argument. Which I responded with "no they intended to mandate the vaccine for the military they just got caught up on legal issues. But even if we assume that was their argument I fail to see how that counters mine. If anything it just agrees with it.
Which is the left wing are pushing/ working towards mandating the vaccine until every citizen has taken it. Which will inevitably mean mandating the vaccine for the civilians. We know this because of left wing rhetoric and the push to mandate the vaccine everywhere they can.
@CocoasBro, The FDA is expected to give full approval in September, the same reason all the mandates are slated for mid September. The government hasn't mandated them yet because they are still on EAU. They are setting up for this winter to artificially show that the vaccine works, they have now manufactured PCR tests that can differentiate between the flu and covid. Which is why they recalled the tests that couldn't... https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/cdc-recall-pcr-covid-19-tests-failed-review/
This article is misleading right off the gate, it claims people are saying that the tests failed review. The people I saw online were always claiming that they couldn't tell the difference between the flu. If you continue in the article after the false rating, they go onto explain exactly what I just said. They put the false fact check on an issue that wasn't even being talked about, you need to be able to discern.
@CocoasBro, This explains why we had so few flu cases last year, we were testing for covid, and whether you had the flu, or covid, you could test positive on an RT PCR. Now they have reset the illusion, with tests that CAN distinguish the difference, and I bet we will have lower covid cases this winter and a sudden "reappearance" of influenza that was suspiciously absent last season. We are being conned by people playing a shell game.
A government big enough to give you everything you want is strong enough to take everything you have.
Viral mutation. Fvck politics. Politicians aren't scientists. They got jEsUs FaItH... derrrr. Invisible man save us. Cloth bad.
This sounds like the same “humans are the only species to pay to live on earth” argument. Last time I camped in the woods I had a good tent, a good sleeping bag, decent padding, a great multitool, and a lighter. I could probably survive for less than a week without some of those.
You fool, what have you done?
