@Captain Swordsman, I mainly game on a "high end" laptop so I've never had more power than a console but the reason I still prefer this to console is mods/ having all my games in one place (steam)/ and the fact that I'm gonna own a pc for general use anyway so why not. No matter the power disparity these things will keep pc on top.

@Hagasay, plus, if Death Stranding and Horizon Zero Dawn are the first examples, some PlayStation 'exclusives' are coming to Steam eventually after launch... Because Sony understands they can get more money on/in another marketplace.. unless it was just those 2 ignore that part. Else Everything seems to come to PC eventually... In some form or another. Either emulator and "legal" obtained copy's years later, or just after timed exclusive window and maybe for cheaper than launch price. Also; with a cost per console and/or cost per (games that stay exclusive). Is it really worth it to buy a console ASAP when in a few years there will be discounts because the next version is coming out? Because then launch titles are reduced to reasonable prices as fan favorites? Ex: I bought a ps4 slim Spiderman combo for like 200 at Best Buy on a Black Friday deal with in-store credit, picked up Horizon Zero Dawn (the first time) for 20$(not 60? Launch price). TLDR; Everything comes to PC eventually

Yes. My PC is better. Not necessarily because of hardware but because it has so many more uses. I have a ps4 and a PC. I game on both. I stream movies and such on both. But on my PC, I can use photoshop, play games not available on console, pay bills, manage my budget, creat PowerPoints and spreadsheets, etc. The fact that I can do so much more on my PC makes my pc better. The act that there is so much more software makes my pc better.
My PC is better than Ps4/Xbone but gets edged out by Ps5/XboXS. That said, the software makes it up imo
