Alright guys, here again for the facts: "Franky Zapata, the French jet ski champion who invented the Flyboard Air, has set a new Guinness World Record for the farthest hoverboard flight. Zapata achieved the feat Saturday morning off the coast of Sausset-les-Pins in the South of France, riding his Flyboard Air hoverboard for a distance of more than 2,252 meters (7,388 feet). Zapata, 37, gained wide attention online earlier this month after videos of him riding the Flyboard Air went viral. Some doubted whether the footage was real or merely a marketing gimmick. The Flyboard Air, uses an "Independent Propulsion Unit" to fly hose-free for up to 10 minutes, according to Zapata Racing. The company says the device can reach a maximum height of 10,000 feet, with a maximum speed of 150 kilometers per hour (93 miles per hour).
@Zerocool11, this is a huge step forward in technology, and I couldn't be happier that it's real.
@Zerocool11, THAT'S FVCKING AWESOME. That is a huge advancement in hover technology... I wonder how loud it is.
@Zerocool11, so I contacted Zapata racing for an interview and I went to meet them at their HQ last week. I arrived and we sat down for the interview and that's when Franky offered me coffee.. I said sure I would love a cup of coffee. Franky responded "OK that'll be about tree fidy". Well wouldn't you know it, it was about that time that I realized "Franky" was a 1000 foot long sea Dino from the paleolithic era so I tells him I says, "goddamn lochness monster always trying to trick me with goddamn fake hoverboards. I ain't got no tree fidy".
@Zerocool11, ha now the hydra jet is not the only ones who can be sexy while in air
The green goblin is real
@THESOULOFTK421, my thoughts exactly.... Does this mean I can be spider-man?
@slurpieboy101, got any aunts with husband's named Ben?
@mas2de, no but I do have a dead uncle....
@slurpieboy101, Close enough! Strap on your skin-tight suit man, you're going criminals hunting!
No, not that suit. You're not going to be Buttsex man. The Spiderman one.
Please, PLEASE tell me that's real. I want it to be, but the internet has ruined my sense of optimism when it comes to videos like this.
@Haphaestus, it most definitely is not
@Haphaestus, actually this year scientists have developed a hover board that lasts for I think six minutes and can carry a person pretty fast. They are working on better battery and weight, it is far from the market.
@Dephenistrator, i believe it uses the kind of rotors in drones as opposed to hovering in the back to the future sense.
@Haphaestus, you can see the effect from the air on the water. I'm not film editor but that seems like it would be very hard to do so my guess is yes
@Haphaestus, that thing is actually a water propelled board, is shoots out water from the bottom, letting you be in the air, but some edited the wires and water out
@DoubleOTJ, No it IS real!
@DoubleOTJ, No, it is air propelled. No, it lasts 10 minutes. Yes, it is 100 percent real, search it up. Lastly, read the first comment up there for more information on it.
@DoubleOTJ, I live in South Florida where this took place and it is real. I know the water propulsion system you are speaking of but this is not it.
So it looks like back to the future wasnt to far off. Nike is also releasing self tying shoes soon.
So I looked it up... Yes this things real the backpack is full of Jet A fuel and the board uses 4 turbines for lift/thrust and 2 side mounted turbines for stability. And this crazy ass want to fly through the clouds on it
It's called a Flyboard http://aquaticaviation.net/ I'm pretty sure it's real but part of me feels it's not.
It's one of those water jet boards they just edited the water out
@ Bandaiidz, No, no, this is a real thing
@ Bandaiidz, wrong. Read the top comment.
It's real. He set a world record doing it.
I need this.
Do you want green goblin because that's how you get green goblin
Yes uploader, now all of us who have a couple grand for one of these can fly. I do believe you can fly
On his way to steal yo girl
