Love Yakuza, hate her. I don't like people who think that way because I contradict what they're talking about because I'm a girl and I love video games. And I also don't like the idiots that think that video games make people violent with scientific evidence that it doesn't. Sorry about the ranting ,it's just ignorance gets on my nerves.
@Ashoka02Tano, agreed, Buzzfeed is cancer
@Ashoka02Tano, if video games don't make people violent then how do you explain the Roman coliseum. Check mate
@MeddlingKid, violence is in our nature passed down by society. There isn't evil in animals, only survival. Plus humans get bored easily and there wasn't a lot of things to do then other than sex, drinking, war, and fighting - which induced the creation of the coliseums.
@Ashoka02Tano, I know how you feel. Never played this game, looks like a lot of fun though. Last time this was posted it used animal crossing. The argument that video games make you violent was started by a bunch of stay at home trophy wives and religious nutjobs whose lives are so empty they need to find anything in life to argue about. It really is a sad, pathetic existence.
@darkness my friend, damn straight
@Ashoka02Tano, they were not serious about the Coliseum and did not need this reply
@TheHaxAreReal, I knew they weren't, but I wanted to say what I thought the reason behind the Coliseum
@Ashoka02Tano, Well there is a lot of ignorance. Imagine also having to explain that anime isn’t just for kids.
When people start to bring up video games as the cause for violence. I tell them if I were to snap I would blame it on the board game checkers. Because it teaches us to crush our enemies, show no mercy, and never let them win.
And then I remind them about all the violence in books and in the news.
Then point out a nice little graph made by people at gamerevolution.com years ago showing the release dates of consoles and games like Grand Theft Auto and how violence actually decreases on the corresponding release dates of those games according to the governments federal crime statistics. Thus disproving what they claim.
I posted a meme with the graph months ago because I got tired of the video game violence issue that popped up in the news again.
@Ashoka02Tano, My other issue with her is, yes some games are made to appeal to the male fantasy. But some games also appeal to the female fantasy. Why is that so wrong? The whole point of video games is to appeal to ones fantasy. Hell, there is even a genre called “Fantasy”. The whole point is to entertain and escape our reality. Even books are like that. But most games are neutral and don’t really appeal to a male or female fantasy. They’re just suppose to be fun.
Perhaps she needs to step back and open her mind to the possibility that. Some people like, and have a different opinion than her own, and if thats so wrong. Perhaps shes the problem.
@Ashoka02Tano, who's Yazuka?
I think the bigger problem is that everyone is too sensitive about sexuality and stuff now. Before, everyone would have just either accepted it or not. Now, everyone has to be left or right and there is no middle ground. What happened to the middle ground?! I want to be Switzerland again without being a bigot or a pu$$y. Like, wtf world, get it together and be offensive every now and then. It's fun, and as long as we can agree on the joke, no harm comes of it.
@timofborg, also, in response to human nature. 2ould anyone argue that pedophilia is an abomination or a sexuality? I think the debate is fascinating, as people argue fursonas and hentai is a sexuality, mostly harmless, just weird. But I could never agree that fvcking kids is a sexuality, like it's wrong all the time. No exceptions.
...clearly she's right
24-Hour Cinderella is such a great song. Yakuza 0 is such a great game, I suggest everyone play it.
Stop, I can only get so erect!
This is the best thing. I had no idea it existed!
@ArchonErikr, if you have a PS4, I suggest you get Yakuza 0. Because there is a karaoke minigame and it cuts to this when singing a song as Majima. It's amazing.
@Mattizzle9, Only a PC and Gamecube, my dude.
@ArchonErikr, ahhh I see. Actually I think they're gonna port the game to PC, so you may be in luck.
@Mattizzle9, yeah, it's coming out on PC soon. You can prepurchase it now
*Gets boner for Majima-niichan*
Yakuza?! God I've heard so much about the series I need to get into it!!
@ptitty1231, I barely got into it myself and it's a great franchise
Anybody else watch this way longer than needed?....must be my subconscious trying to satisfy my fantasy
The epitomy if male fantasy!
@Awesome Naked Taco, it's a Japanese game about the Yakuza, a famous crime organization. The guy singing, with the eyepatch, is Majima who is one of the main characters you play as. The other one you play as is Kiryu. Oh, and this game is called Yakuza 0. I absolutely love that game. If you can't afford it, I suggest you watch a YouTuber called Cryoatic, just search it and a channel called Draxr uploads his Twitch livestreams.
What's wrong with appealing to the male fantasy? Can't we all have a fantasy?
Bring back “baby shark”
I’m not sure what I just watched, but it was amazing
What on earth is that? O.o
I always wondered why Lara Croft is thought of as being fanservice when her and Indiana Jones are essentially the same person
Ok who is this bitch?
I’ve got the weirdest boner right now
