I was excitedly waiting for a blind person's response...then I was like "Oh wait..."
@KyleKrunch, I was too and didn't think about it really until I read your comment...
@KyleKrunch, actually some people who are born blind can have dreams where they are able to "see" things. It's hard to explain, but it's cool to look up
@Beetle Juice, not if born blind. Although other senses take over dreams. Visual dreams are possible if not born blind but it happens early in life. 💫
@KyleKrunch, Blind people can use the internet too, man. Technology!
@KyleKrunch, if someone had a blind friend they could tell us.
The color black
@Felix the Bear, racists!
@freshpri1, the color... White?
@Felix the Bear, what's black
@I Am Mike Tyson, the color they dream in
@Felix the Bear, they have no concept of black
@Felix the Bear, check your privilege!!1!
Actually! I don't dream visually. I have a brain disorder, but its like you dream and you don't see anything, but you know what happened. It's hard to explain.
@Summerwolves, so you're blind, and using a 100% visual app. Seems legit.
@MeanOldMathMan, He didn't say he was blind. He said he doesn't dream visually(he just sort of knows what happened in the dream). It's actually not that uncommon, don't quote me on this but I think I read that about 1 in 50 people dream like that.
@MeanOldMathMan, I never said I was blind
@Phoenix Gold, yes all correct but I am female. I said I had a brain disorder, not blind hahaha that would be interesting then a lot more would be like me. It's a strange feeling it's like in depth but everything except visuals.
@Summerwolves, I think I dream life that too, but I full in the blanks afterwards. Idk I'll let you know in the morning!
@Summerwolves, is it because you're a wolf?
@Proactive Citizenry , :o who told you!?
@Summerwolves, I'm multi-billion $ company that profits off the sale and grafting of body parts. I know everything.
@Summerwolves, I have a hard time explaining regular dreams, so I'll take your word for it.
@Summerwolves, so basically each night you sit their unconsciously thinking up stories with no pictures
@the guy with one job, yes... Pretty much. I can think back to dreams I've had, but have no visual. I have a hard time picturing objects in my head , that might have something to do with it... I can remember my dream being about the doctors office and getting medication, but not the visual aspect. It's hard to explain... Like explaining what red smells like... It's like I know something happened, even though I didn't see it happen.
@Summerwolves, Looked it up, it's called aphantasia.
@Summerwolves, that must be weird. I can clearly visualise pictures in my head, but sometimes they go away if I open or close my eyes. Frustrating. It's like having a little cinema at the back of my mind (and the top of my vision) but it gets switched off when I change my eyes.
Check out the blind film critic on YouTube he answered this question and hundreds more about blindness
@Oathkeeper, how can a film critic be blind? "Oh that person sounds like they aren't making good facial expressions"
@The Puppet Man, well its not like all people who are blind never go to the movies they can hear the movie and it is interesting to hear the opinion of someone unaffected by the CG of recent blockbusters check it out!
@Oathkeeper, fair enough, I just know that some critics talk about visual things while a blind critic would be completely unable to
@The Puppet Man, exactly, he only talks about the story and "acting" of the voices its really intriguing
@Oathkeeper, oh okay that actually sounds like his reviews would be easier to trust. Some reviews are just plain whiney.
*tokes blunt while waiting for others to comment*
@Proactive Citizenry , I dunno. Braille -\😋/-
I'm guessing they just dream in sound
Well born as a blind man. I couldn't help but to type response promptly after seeing this meme. And could only respond by saying ...
I'm blind and this offends me.
They have dreams with their senses like sound, taste, smell, touch
Not being blind?
As someone who's sibling is blind, I can tell you that they dream of sounds
I'm not blind (obviously) but I CAN answer the question of "do stutterers stutter in their thoughts?" And the answer is no... No we do not.
If anyone reading this is blind, can you answer this for us?
@Handless Juggler , ...
@Handless Juggler , not even unreasonable, iphones have text to voice and accessibility features for the blind
@niffler, Yeah, exactly! A friend of mine used to be blind. He said nobody learns Braille any more. He just scanned in whatever he needed to read and listened to it.
I've always wondered what language their thoughts were in
They probably dream of seeing...
Eyes that work
kind of ignorant though.. obviously the way they perceive the world, touch sound smell etc sight is not th only way we perceive
My girlfriend was born blind. When she dreams she said everything is as it is while she's awake, except she knows where everything is and never trips on stuff
They dream about feelz
They just don't see in their dreams.. They're blind in them.. :/ what would you think?
They dream about their lifeless bodies floating around in the void for all of eternity
How nice it would be to not be blind
