@The Manwhore, having characters with so much life is what I love about Mass Effect—by the end of Mass Effect 3, I realized that I always chose Liara and Garrus, because they were my lover and best friend, and it always felt right. Just like how if I were to face the end of the world, I would want the same people to help me save it. It gave the players sincere feelings towards these dynamic characters, which made them real for us.

@SavageGreek, Yeah, if only they did that with every character, me2 Ash/Kaiden: "It's probably not in the universes best interest to blow you off but I don't trust since I haven't seen you in a while." Or Miranda: "I love you! Unless you're friends with Jack." Some of the others did okay but overall the normal humans were kinda lame as love interests and I found myself Captain Kirking it through the series

@The Manwhore, haha agreed. I wanted to keep Liara consistent throughout all three games, but by the time I had the Shadow Broker DLC, it was too late for that, and Miranda was already like "heeeeyyyy 😏," as hard as I tried to be like "nooooooo, get away from me, skank!"
